Top-bottom:

New Kitt to try out the transoliteing. '69 Chevy pickup as never had the casting .

Lotus a nice colour.  Moon Eyes matt black Fleetline seemed unsual.

Bought the Escort as I thought someone on here was still after one.  Miura a nice colour.

Sierra was the only one seen so thought it might be sought-after. Charger have already but though why not, for swapsies

Mercedes was found on the floor tucked under the shelves and needed saving.  Kangoo as never seen one before in the wild.

STILL NO FLYING CUSTOMS

Tesco finds, but no new Matchbox:

Had my second ever visit to a B&M - I drive within sight of it most days but don't usually have time to stop (and there's a £1 fee to park there as it's in the town centre). That got me this lot at £1.69 each, but nothing any more exciting or from different ranges:

Also had a swap around with the Majorette on display in my cabinet at work, refreshed with some of those picked up at Brentwood and keeping a few I've had since childhood (the proper one when I was young, not what I'm still living through now):

I'm sure I can find you a red Cosworth if you happen to find the missing Pontiac Firebird from the set above!

I've just read that there was no chase model in this 2021 series, unlike previous years

Keep seeing pics of 6 rather than 5?

I wonder if BuM have both the first and second series of the 53rd anniversary cars

Wiki says there's no chase but there is for mix two - just not mix one...

So now I have some tyres I can finish my first two Corgi restoration projects..

Here are the subjects a Corgi Austin Seven and Corgi Morris Mini Minor...

The Morris came with the transporter, I'm pretty sure and was light blue originally

Here are the two together

Great restorations, those will display very well.

You might want to invest in some needle files, they are great for shaping and smoothing out repairs, especially window openings.

The blue you have painted the Morris in is more like the colour used on the racing version and not the Mini Minor version.

I wonder if anyone has ever been able to complete a definitive list of MB38 models. There are hundreds of them out there, and there must be so many variations that it would probably take a life time to track them all down.

I’ve got about 15 of them, mostly U.K. on pack offers. The Charlie Mack book is fairly conclusive but there will always be code 2 issues that crop up. The Ben Franklin one is the one to find, expect to fork out £500 for one.

I have an answer too.  To get hold of a Ben Franklin, make your own.  The Pepsi-Cola base was used, so get hold of one of them, rub off the tampo, fire up the inkjet printer and wham, money saved.

Who has a Vectis account (silly question) who can look up the hammer price on this bundle from last month?

Because I told myself I only needed the one, and its replacement arrived off this very forum earlier this month.

You see, I've had an aversion to those Model A coupes and Vans ever since childhood.  But I think the hang-up was the wheels all along.

So a plan had been hatched.  The transfer of some Lledo donor metal wheels to give it that authentic* touch.

Because even Mattel couldn't get it right with the run-out model from 2007

I loved my Kellogs corn flakes one. No idea where it went.

I bet mines still in my big box of toy cars (will have a look tomorrow). I miss promotional stuff obtained by eating lots of breakfast cereal.

Speaking of which, what was I eating in the late 80s to bag this Promo Corgi?
