Bren
2 hours ago, 155V6 said: I like the Corgi Wrecker, the Juniors version seems harder to find than the Rockets one. There was an eBay seller in the states who was selling 3D printed tow hooks, they came with the cradle that held the front wheels of the broken down car as well 😃 I have the rockets one. Minus the cradle.

155V6
Sat here on my own(Miss_155 was worn out after staying up until 3.00 a.m counting votes😂)& I started to think again.I had an idea that I'd found a Corgi Juniors Holmes Wrecker ages ago,but chucked it in a box because it was broken. A bit of digging,& I found it.It's not as nice as the one @junkyarddog found, but the booms are intact,so it just needs a couple of hooks Then I started to wonder which other models had hooks which might fit,& I came up with the Matchbox Dodge wrecker A quick look on eBay,& these are available for not too much.It looks like the same hook fits the Ford wrecker,& the 8-wheeled crane as well.I'm sure I've got at least two of these models in my junk boxes,so time to have a look tomorrow. Spottedlaurel
I'm trying to steer clear of toy fairs for the moment, but circumstances are taking me south of London next weekend and I'll have a bit of time to kill so I'm looking to visit this one: https://www.rmtoys.co.uk/pages/kempton-park-toyfair Anyone else going? 155V6
Haven't been to that one for a few years.I used to have a stall there for a bit,but it started getting expensive. It used to be a good one to buy at,just the right size.I would probably go & have a look around, but am away for a couple of nights next weekend

I don't want to spend too much, but it'll be good to see what sellers in a different patch have compared to the little fairs we have around here, usually with the same regulars. If I can get another 2-3 MIB Superfast and some odds and ends, maybe a kit or two, I'll be happy.
155V6
Mixed success finding tow hooks today I found a Matchbox Dodge wrecker & removed the hook I then fitted it to the Corgi Juniors wrecker, but when I tried to remove the remains of the other hook I broke the end of the boom 🙁 Luckily,I've got this other Corgi Rockets wrecker,so I'll use the boom from that I' Remspoor, junkyarddog and Tenmil Socket
Dick Longbridge
I've got a number of diecast for sale in one lot. 23 models in total, mostly 1970s/1980s Matchbox and Corgi. The 1973 yellow Matchbox Rolomatics Wildlife truck and the black 1983 Matchbox Ford Sierra XR4i are particularly clean along with the red Superkings Ford truck rental van and the boxed Norev Renault F4 van. The red Citroen BX estate is a proper rarity! £10 plus the postage. andrew e, bunglebus, sierraman and 1 other

bunglebus
I was selling at the boot sale today but found time to go toy hunting, and I'm glad I did Grabbed this little guy mainly as the lettering was intact and I think one side is missing on mine Trailer is missing the tow hook but I don't think I have the early one with plastic hubs Unknown brand Aldi Yatming pull-cord BMW 635 is definitely a new one on me, it's 1:64ish - I'd expect this type of mechanism to be in a bigger car Buddy L Ford people carrier thingy Strange Porsche just because I liked it Happy to add another boxed Super Kings to my collection Didn't one of you lot find one of these sound activated Corgi Saint XJSs recently? This is my best find though - 50p Darda Beetle. Been after one (and the Porsche) but they go for many pennies on eBay AndyW201, Datsuncog, Remspoor and 4 others
Justwatching
1989 Chevrolet Caprice in 1:64 scale by Greenlight. San Diego "Volunteer Sheriff". An interesting livery. Push bars on the front, too. It's not a very good roller though and has unreachable smudge marks on the inside of the windows. Unfortunately, this is typical of Greenlight. Nibbler
Went to a big flea market outside the Swedish town of Alvesta and found almost nothing... I was quite interested in a Mercedes 240 D with caravan in original box. But it was too pricey. So I bought this instead.
