If you ever consider moving these on I'd be very interested chap. I have a fairly decent collection of these now, mainly bought from other shiters. I trashed all my large Bburagos as a kid and Polistils were not really sold in any shops near me, which explains why I love them so much now I'm in my 40s.

I've got a large Bburago Corvette, in silver , the modernish ugly one not a classic Corvette , let me know if you are interested

Cheers chap, I mainly collect 1/24 scale Bburagos and Polistils from the 1970s to early 1990s.

That's me completed what I would call my first proper diecast purchase in well over a year. Cheers @richardmorris!

During that time I've only ever bought models of the 1/1 cars I own as there has been about 5 or 6 fleet movements since the start of 2021.

This purchase is because I want the actual item and I'm going to collect a few more again. Possibly browsing @Cookiesouwests model bus thread got me interested again.

Can't tell if that's a really early Hot Wheels or a later one

But that's definitely a Lone Star

I reckon the Hot Wheels is a Mercury Cougar from about 2002,& the Jag is Matchbox

anyone here have the Oxford diecast Invacar yet? I have one -received yesterday. released last week

There's a few in the Invacar thread. Mine should be coming tomorrow - very long-awaited as it should have been released in mid-late 2020.

I may have been dreaming but I thought I saw a shiter selling a collection of cars for £20 and a box of Corgis for £50. Can anyone locate this post or the seller?

I quoted from the £20 post, looks like they've been deleted

As far as I can tell, purple is an approximation of the Matchbox Lamborghini Marzal, yellow is the Corgi Chevy Astro I, the greens are Corgi DeTomaso Mangusta, blues are Corgi/Matchbox Alfa Carabo - but what is the red one? *edit* ID'd as a Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpio Coupe Concept! - can't think of a toy version though?

I thought they'd be branded H.W. like the others I've found, but these are marked TF302 to 306

Guisval, apparently. Dinky also did a large-scale version. Do you have 'originals' of all those other cars? Would be interesting to see a comparison.

There's a lot of models in that Solido catalogue that I wasn't aware of and I'd like to find.

Also, this defines the imagined intended demographic and target market for all reproduction vintage model cars, Lledo, Yesteryear and so on.

There's something faintly tragic about the aspirations behind the range. I did have a L'age d'or Citroen Traction and it was a lot nicer than a yesteryear and more of a proper 'model' with fine plastic details and an opening engine cover. The wheels were very accurate too. I no longer have it but I wish I still has as I really like the real car.

Going through my dwindling pile of unscanned catalogues, I wondered why I hadn't done the  Matchbox 1984 effort - it was because it doesn't fit my normal scanner, so I had to dust off the other one with a slightly larger bed, but this one crops off a few mm from each edge and is a pain in the wossname to use.

Hopefully the time spend messing about editing the pictures afterwards were worth it, some gems in here that I remember getting new, the green RS2000 set with the glider and trailer and Convoy Truck Stop set especially. I also remember having a Rough Rider, but don't recognise it from this catalogue. I would have been 7 at the time

Several mocks-ups to be seen too, notably in the Specials range.
