Some interesting bits there - Blue Audi Quattro is of interest, what are the blue 928, Alpine and purple sports car - is that one a Corgi Cub?

Cheers

Quattro is dibsded by @Tenmil Socket

928 and Alpine are both Solido

Yes, there are two Corgi Cubs there, the Fire Dept thing in the row behind is also one.

Interested in the Plymouth taxi and the prelude? What are we looking at price wise?

Price wise I reckon £3.50 for the decent ones, and £0.50-£1.50 for the more shit ones. Reasonable?

So:

@Tenmil Socket - £4.50

@sierraman -£4.50

@155V6 - £5

 @bunglebus - £8

Christmas money plus a bit in my Paypal account from selling another kit spent:

Image 1 - Tamiya Ford Sierra XR4i Car Series No.52 1/24 Scale Model Kit 1985

Most expensive kit I've purchased, and it's been lightly started, but that makes it ideal for actually building.

Having finally organised my stash of kits it's apparent I have enough for a good few years, but it'd be good to improve the variety/quality of what's there by the odd bit of trading/selling.

Looking forward to seeing this built!

Sounds good to me, let me know the total with the postage and I can get it wired across. Cheers

Yet another rabbit hole fallen into - Hungarian Hobby-Cars copies of Matchbox and Majorette

Majorette BMW Turbo, apparently most of them have this casting fault

No mistaking those last two. Apparently there's also some link between this company and Playmobil, who definitely copied Matchbox too

Yes and no... I think the problem was that Playmobil's toys and trademarked name were also pirated by a Hungarian toy firm called Schenk, with no connection to the real Playmobil (owned by German toymaker Brandstätter). I'm not sure, but were Hobby Cars maybe linked to Schenk?

Can't find it on these pages, but I think I profiled a plastic copy of the Matchbox Superfast Bedford TM car transporter which was made by Schenk and sold with Playmobil branding, in an impressively bold disregard of both sets of intellectual property rights. The model shop in Smithfield had a fair few of these, and apparently there were other MB copies in the same range.

Schenck were sued by Brandstätter, and ordered by a court to stop selling toys under the Playmobil name in the mid-90s.

Naughty, naughty.

Here's the site - English translation isn't the best

And here's one of my Playmobil Machbox copies - I have three

Are those pictures taken on a Hot Wheels foldable garage? I had one, fantastic, loved the little garages, used to keep a little Corgi Metro in the top one.

Pass - I "borrowed" them from the above site

Talking of blatant copies - look what just arrived

Yup another Lucky Toys Gruesome Twosome copy in a subtle shade of magenta

But wait, there's more

Also a Lucky, looking very much like the Matchbox #6 Ford Pick-up. Is it a copy? The original certainly didn't have an opening hood

I don't think it's a Majorette copy.The Majorette Beetle has always looked a bit off to me.I'm not sure if the roof is too flat or the windscreen too upright?

I keep thinking Tomica but they also don't have ¼ lights.

Yes the casting is a bit odd, '02 Beetles aren't the best proportioned to start with
