danthecapriman Posted March 11, 2023 Share Posted March 11, 2023 The old battery in this one is well past its sell by date! It’s all corroded and rotted! I’ll have a look for a new battery later. There were other MMs made with 'Turbo' wheels which were a little smaller with no tread and a glitzy design. Then it went a bit pear shaped. This bugger Has got a horrible method of connecting to the battery just using the legs of the LED. Took it apart in the end and although I could just about get it to work If you breathe on it wrong it goes off again. Next up this ugly little spud I've never seen this before - front 'rivet' is actually a blind screw, fun getting that out. Inside things get complex As well as the switch, that cog on the rear axle works like the old Rolamatics and pushes two contacts together - quite hard to get it to stay in the on position for pics but Hurrah!
