Nope - now I look at the pics again (October 2020, tat fans), I'm pretty sure it was a reproduction Dinky version - darker green shade, and no roofrack. Looks a bit too shiny to be an original, too.

Round rear lights are the clincher.

Nothing to get excited about - carry on, folks.

Yeah that's the Dinky one, I have that and an example of the original.  Not a patch on the Corgi.

Bit of a quick one today, as I'm celebrating* the Jubilee extra-long weekend with several large buckets of Dulux and a roller... but who wouldn't want to see some more Tomica goodness?

Another taxi - and rather like my weird foray into fire engines last year, although I'd profess to have no particular interest in public hire vehicles, I sold my civilian version of this Nissan Cedric 280E but kept the cab version... go figure.

Box depicts a slightly different version - I'm not sure whether the blue and white livery is a variant of the red and white No.28, or if someone put this back in the wrong box at some stage.

The No.13 cast into the base seems to refer to the standard saloon version in the Tomica catalogue - seems they reused this part of the casting, rather than giving it a unique taxi base.

Base is still nice and shiny, though.

Still very fond of this one.

Yep that's a Siku, Kees and a Welly I think.

I should also mention I've got these three here as requested by various people...

Yes please to the Rover 800 as mentioned previously, + silver Nova, cleanest red Big Banger, cement mixer, tipper and digger all close together please.

Does the magnet on the red magnet truck work? If so, yes please.

I've got that in plain white as you know and its it's great model. I love the rear lights. Also, big shout out to whomever names it after a town just off the A66 in Cumbria (a lot of contemporary American Cars also got this name for their top trim levels)

I don't think the magnet is on that Corgi but I'll check. @AnnoyingPentiumhas asked for the Nova and the Golf was earmarked for them originally - happy to pass it on if it's no longer wanted?

Aye, happy to pass on both. :)

Found a boxed Golf in Tesco and I'll look for my Nova instead of buying a replacement, saves me money. 😆

I love those little Tomicas. In another dimension I could see myself seriously collecting them, as the subject matter is just so great and they all seem really well detailed and faithful. I'm sure I have mentioned before but in my whole childhood of buying second-hand cars from jumble sales etc I only ever found one Tomica, which is the S60 Crown. It got a crappy repaint in black, and it's one of only a tiny handful of my childhood models I still have. It's the proper 70s casting, too, but I suspect I could still buy a brand new one as they seem to have rereleased loads of the old castings, like your Cedric. Lovely stuff.
