Kees Saab is up for grabs though, couple of glazing cracks etc As is the Chinese made Crown taxi - paid £1.50 for this as I thought someone would want it I found several big boxes of cars, annoyingly the first one saw "pound a car" quoted after I'd sorted out quite a few I wanted. Did a deal in the end and there were some definitely worth it, such as this Dinky E-Type Hadn't seen this colour of the ugly Matchbox 911 before in person Most expensive single car was this that cost me £5 but was too nice to leave behind That huge pile of cars at the later boot sale netted me quite a few, some if which I'll punt on, this somehow has defied all the odds and has uncracked glazing! It'll donate that to my custom one, I'm just amazed. They're ALWAYS broken, so to find one in that jumbled heap... bunglebus
Onto VW stuff. This is my find of the week, some of you may remember me netting a Tomy AFX set from this boot sale last year, minus the MK2 Golf. That box of pound a car vehicles included this so I walked away grinning I've also been trying to track down one of these Majorette buggies, one of a number of Majos I scored from a seller today Tidy Hot Wheels for 25p Of course missing the rear hatch, but I have donors Split_Pin, AndyW201, warch and 2 others
bunglebus
In the more unusual area, we have a Marx Caddy with intact interior/base card Playart E-Type The Guisval BX - gave £1 for this Pulled this Darda out of that huge 3 for £1 pile, should help refill the coffers Can't put my finger on why this Corvette looks so familiar, marked Playskool Another fake Matchbox by H.W. Trickshifter with no shifter Only found a couple of Hot Wheels, blackwalls Pug and a Crack-Ups Datsuncog, Remspoor, AndyW201 and 2 others

155V6
I only went to one local car boot this morning & came away with these Called into a nearby antiques place on the way home & picked this Dinky Scammell I'd seen it yesterday, but left it because of the missing front bumper. However,Steve Flowers sells reproductions,so that'll be another part to add to the list when I get round to placing an order. warch, Datsuncog, eddyramrod and 6 others

Last lot, I bought shedloads of Matchbox as they were cheap, only a few are new to me or unusual The white Fandango is pleasing as I only had a tatty one. Fire Chief I had but has gone AWOL. Forgot to include this plastic MK1 Golf cab with the VW stuff, looks like the Early Learning Centre (we think) MK3 Escort I found a while ago, but is marked Viking Plast Sweden Lastly this Corgi F1 has little marking on the base - part of a set of sold under another name? Amishtat
First boot sale visit of the year here too this morning as we actually managed a whole 40 seconds or so when it wasn't fucking raining. Utter, utter shit. One of these Sundays I should get my arse in gear and take a look at Ayr market, it's not very far and it couldn't be any more of a waste of time and petrol than Dumfries. This was the only thing to come home with me today,it just seemed a little too nice to leave it clattering around in the 50p tub. 155V6, AndyW201, RoadworkUK and 3 others
