flat4alfa
There's a catch at the very end of the front of the chassis part Push back towards the axle. The whole lot slides back and it prises out Take self-congratulatory pics and post on here to celebrate the end of an ordeal andrew e

bunglebus
I had a couple of deliveries today, with some interesting bits within Spotted the Hot Wheels X-Racers Mini in among a job lot. There's a clear version, and a green - both only came in 5 packs and command surprising coin for a single car. It's also the earlier version where you could remove the body Found a few more Blackwalls This is a right oddity, going by the wheels I thought it was one of the micro size HW, but it's the same as a normal one. Never seen this before that I know of This Matchbox Supervan is the Turbo 2 version (if you couldn't tell). Need to find it some tyres Road Blasters 280ZX I have one of these Aviva Snoopy Honda things, but I've been keeping an eye out for another to evict Snoopy from and customise The same seller had this for 99p, which was a cheaper way to buy the missing wheel from my @Datsuncogsourced one than buying just the wheels off eBay. flat4alfa
Crikey 99p how do you do it Can I have another of the wheels to get my near-identical three-wheeler Camaro back up and sitting straight? Saying that, I also need the other wheels for the Hillman Rally job too! Looking forward to the BUNGLEBUS CUSTOMS CORGI CAMARO with massive blown BBC engine sitting proud out the hood, along with the Adams Dragstar wheel set, all set in an alternative Pro-Street homage to the Sunoco Penske car - it will be brill 😎 Especially if it retains the hidey hidey lights eddyramrod
bunglebus
I could do all of the above I suppose - donor had 4 wheels but only two good tyres. I do have another set of golden jacks wheels for something else - again 1 tyre short. Think I got them for the P6 but they are the ones for the Corvette IIRC. Donor Camaro has also lost a door card and the seat backs. Think you can get the door cards off Steve Flowers (as well as the windscreen/hood). Nope, not yet - a boxed one showed up on the market stall last year with a £20 tag, and although the (original) box was excellent the model inside was quite chipped, so I didn't bother... Quite looking forward to the next Model Club issue for that reason, though I'm not sure if they're going to ship it with the box flattened - I don't see how they'd get it to fit into their usual mail packaging otherwise. bunglebus
155V6
A few finds from 2 car boots this morning The pink Jensen is something I've been after at a reasonable price for a while,so very happy with that. The same seller had a Corgi Juniors Ironside van which was very nice, but he wanted £20 for it which was too rich for me.I was watching one on eBay yesterday, but I missed the end of the auction & it went for just over a fiver,so a bit gutted about that. The rest came from one seller, quite happy with £2.00 for those 😁 Datsuncog, Split_Pin, D.E and 4 others

andrew e
Had a good and rather VFM meet up with @bunglebus at the Rayleigh toy fair. Even though he scoped the prime tat I snared a few he’s missed 😂 A nice selection from the £1 trays A slip….. I bought a Bugatti type 35 yesteryear 😳 I know but £2, it’s so delicate! This Audi Quattro late Superking is lovely bar the missing spotlight, but in a livery I’d not seen before either, mine for a £1! Just couldn't bring myself to spend literally all the money I had left on it! andrew e
Highlight today was this Vitesse Cinquecento Trofeu - the one make rally challenge that green-lit the launch of the Cinquecento sporting, and effectively Arbarths rebirth. (I think I have the Pam fort somewhere). All complete bar a mirror and needing a light scrub another fantastic £1 spent, all @bunglebus fault as I was pushing him spend money not me 😁 Detailing is fab for a 1/43 let alone one from the mid 90’s. bunglebus
Let's have a look at a few things that didn't come home with me; Corgi set was very lovely I'd not seen this Matchbox set before, and at that price I think he'll have it a while I reckon @flat4alfawould have liked this one and this, which was well over £100. andrew e
Finally the last few pickings! Was anyone after the Pepsi two, or has anyone got the matching transporter? Now this is wonderful (or cack as my wingman scoffed) Chinese Transit, but is it Transit or a Russian GAZelle Transki??? It’s crap enough to be either 😁 Siku Hanomag was worth £2 of anyone’s money. bunglebus
So what you really want to know about is my visit to Sainsbury's and Smyths this afternoon. Sains had the 1/4 Mile Kings for £3.25, including lots of Bugattis Smyths had them for £3.00. bunglebus
Oh yeah, the toy fair. It was like every Tat Friday and boot sale rolled into one. I don't know if it's because it's the end of the year, but there were boxes and boxes of tatty toys going for a pound to pennies - like 5 for £1 in one case. I can't possibly show them all cos you'll think I'm mad, but here's some that are worth sharing, starting with the smaller stuff Matchbox Merc 300E in German Police livery Astra seems to be one of the harder ones to find For a casting supposedly not sold in the UK, these turn up fairly regularly. Going in the custom box M1 bought mainly as the rear lights haven't fallen out like my other silver ones Pretty good Lambo pulled from a 50p tub There's always a lonesome onesome I stretched to a whole pound for this Refrigerator Truck Regular Wheels Mercedes Coach is quite a delicate casting, the roof has suffered slightly but it's not bad Setra Coach is in great shape though Another 50p refugee, early Cougar with steering Ooh, a red Seafire! That'll go nicely with the white one then I've been chasing a Snow-Trac for a while, every time I spot one in a job lot they get expensive. This was in the 5 for a pound box I have no idea who made this Renault 30, it's awful. I love it Got this lovely blackwall Mustang for a pound Now this was worth rummaging through a 50p box for - Majorette Motor 911 And so was this - I've never set eyes on a Corgi Electro Rockets before These Majorette buggies always lose their roofs, so I snatched this one before it could happen BRB with the bigger stuff eddyramrod, Jon, Remspoor and 5 others 7
bunglebus
Sticking with VWs, ADAC Polo is a great find, think I paid £2.50 for this Which is expensive compared to £2 for this Corgi Firebird, all there bar the screen and one door card, just full of dust. First Corgi I've found with the red wheel centres Another Corgi, complete bar tyres Same make, different era. @andrew econvinced me I needed this Range Rover. It could use some chewing gum to keep the lower tailgate closed! For a moment I thought this was a Corgi too, but it's a Matchbox with a jaunty repaint This thing is hefty. Matchbox K-39 Snorkel A much better Martini K-7 than my current one And its close relative the K-21 Tractor Transporter. I was chasing one of these on eBay that was local to me but the price went mad. A pound for this one! Further digging in the £1 Matchbox commercials box scored me another Avis A Series And a Super Kings Scammel Contractor. Grille and tow hook just as missing as the other one I own of course Back after the break with stuff in boxes AndyW201, andrew e, eddyramrod and 2 others 4
bunglebus
This is up there with best bargain of the day. I almost missed it as the seller mostly had modern "models", but in a box with a £5 sign was this. Wallet couldn't come out fast enough! Making the box liner and interior the same colour wasn't a great idea. Car is mint if a little dusty Tucked away in a corner, by a stand selling model trains, was a box containing these Majorettes in a promotional livery for a local paper. For ten pence each. These two still have the sprue joining the rear doors Now these weren't cheap cheap, but I like these Kidco produced Dinkys - I couldn't go home without two still on cards I certainly wasn't complaining about £2 for this Matchbox split So there ya go, fun was had, money was spent and more cars joined my collection. There's another fair next month, and it's in my town. I'd better start saving... RoadworkUK, Datsuncog, Tenmil Socket and 4 others 6
