155V6
Nothing to do this afternoon,so I took a trip around 5 charity shops I haven't visited for ages. No diecast at all,but I couldn't leave this behind Then it was on to the other big Tesco near me.They had the new stuff, but there wasn't much left,& no singles I needed. I did get this though,7 decent cars for Ā£8.00 is alright with me š Ā Datsuncog, Split_Pin, AndyW201 and 1 other

It has 'Beetle' decals on each side. sierraman
Had a bit of a stock take the other night with my Superkings, apart from some that are megabucks like the JCB or the short lived motorcycles, Iāve probably got 80% of them, not all the variations obviously but Iāve resigned to not trying to win that battle. Amishtat
Just back from a trip to Dumfries, one of the charity shops had a large display of small diecast in the window. On closer inspection very little to interest me or that I didn't already have, but these two Siku came home with me. A bit scruffy admittedly, but good enough. There was also a metallic green Audi 200(?) which turned out to be missing a door so that stayed where it was. I had the Opel as a very young child but it was a darker metallic red than this and was always missing one rear wheel. In another shop window was an unbuilt Tamiya Monte Carlo Mini kit which I probably ought to have bought, but I only had some pocket change about my person. Already got one as well, but when did that ever matter?Ā 155V6, D.E, AndyW201 and 9 others

MiniMort
Pssst. Keep this info to yourself.Ā If you're in Nottingham check out a place called Parallel Universe in the city centre. I went in there this lunchtime to get my fix of my other obsession (retro games) but I noticed a box containing a tonne of worn out old cars.Ā I picked up one, went over to the store owner and asked how much he wanted for it. He told me every car in that box was a quid.Ā And so here we are - Ā£2 for two cars. We have an absolutely fucked Triumph Acclaim with a smashed windscreen, smashed rear light, neither remaining door mirrors and a suspiciously chewed tow bar. And then we have a significantly less fucked Majorette 205 GTI which is just missing some side trim.Ā Absolutely no clue whether the Acclaim can be salvaged but my aim is to turn the 205 from some sporty, rally decal clad GTI to a povvo XE.Ā Tenmil Socket, Datsuncog, Split_Pin and 6 others

The model is of a five-window 1932 Coupe; the car in the film was a three-window 34.Ā There was a 32 in American Graffiti... ...which at least is a five-window of the correct general shape, but notice the film car's engine is exposed, whereas the model's isn't. Hot Wheels did a 34 years ago, with exposed engine sides, and I have one I painted up as the Kid. bunglebus
Quite obvious colour differences in the Bandai Beetles And some production changes underneath. RM version just says Bandai Made in China, VW has the full script and then Made in Singapore, donor has BandaiĀ Singapore then the script I was having a read on the history of these and it's a bit confusing with name changes, release dates etc. All three are essentially the same though so I'll be keeping the ROBOMACHINES and VOLKSWAGEN versions. Donor bumper has had a rechrome and will go on my original car andrew e
