flat4alfa
While on the subject of 1/32 scale, how about these two by MSZ ? You can find these in TK Maxx for very little. Bentley Continental GT Supersports Convertible and Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. Bought to convert to slottishness, but in hindsight I think I will leave them as they are. Perhaps the scaling is a bit off as the Bentley is a bigger beast in the flesh, but proportions either way are spot on Diecast, both have sounds and lights and opening things. Pretty good models and so cheap for what you get. Even came with the lithium cells fitted ready Burnside, Sudsprint, AndyW201 and 2 others
bunglebus
Tonka/Maisto mashup I hadn't seen before. Seller has quite a few but I just bought the bug Also a cheap job lot, Chinese Yatming copies for the most part Found the roofless Range Rover with its screen intact And a couple more of these for resto or parts donors. Tonka/Maisto also a new one on me - though I guess MC Toy/Maisto were always pretty accommodating when it came to making Matchbox-sized toys for whoever came knocking. You must have a cracking collection of Maisto and variants by now! bunglebus

bunglebus
I have got a fair few Maisto and MC Toys now, think the most interesting are the ones that appear as multiple brands or are clearly someone else's casting originally

I know what you mean, it may be 'factory fresh' but it's definitely a flaw. I was pretty annoyed to pay top dollar a few years back for a mint/boxed Corgi Toyota Supra, only to find it had similar blisters along with smudges to the two-tone paint. A manufacturer quality control issue, for sure, but no mention of that in the listing, or shown in the pics (all in the box). It's possible that the vendor genuinely didn't know about the blister - say, if they're listing a whole load of stuff and didn't take it out of the box - but if you paid a fair whack for it and/or it was unboxed in the listing pics, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to ping them a query asking them how they wish to proceed with an item not as described - return/refund, or partial refund? I guess whether you wanted it as a minter or as a basis for a custom might influence how you go forward. But yeah, tldr - I'd be annoyed at that. Also the Corgi FX4 taxi and Matchbox Ford Cargo skip truck, if available! There’s no brand. The transit and the land rover 110 are the two AA models left. For those three and the skip lorry does £12 posted sound ok? Amishtat
For the sake of clarity I should say the Escort neatly replaces the one in my childhood AA set which had an unfortunate incident with a hammer some time around 1991. I found the rest of the set still boxed a couple of months ago when we moved and hoped I'd come across an Escort singly, didn't think there was much chance of that though. Cheers Jon! jon.k and Datsuncog
