I thought the scales might differ but both 1:43 apparently I make them 135mm and 129mm. There's not actually much in it once you put the bumpers on the corgi, and without a base I don't have a rear bumper for the dinky (I think the spoiler sticks out beyond it anyway). Official length for an XJC is 4959mm, so the Dinky comes out at 1:36.733 scale and the Corgi 1:38.4419 Datsuncog and flat4alfa

bunglebus
Bloody hell, it's a Buddy L! Transporter is in great condition, stickers on the red car aren't great but the yellow one has survived well. A rummage in the kitchen drawer revealed a single AA battery so testing will have to wait Had a look for the missing grille off my Bora but it was long gone. Tenmil Socket
I've only just got round to fitting batteries in the Corgi Maestro I got off @Amishtata while back. Even though I had one as a child I did forget how to operate the lights as I was looking for an on/off switch but I quickly figured out you simply press down on the front or rear axle. Anyway I thought it would be best to check the headlight alignment 😆 *Pics taken after alignment done* Datsuncog, MorrisItalSLX, andrew e and 11 others 10

Out Run
This thread has inspired me. So I went in the parents loft today and got out what remains of my childhood toy cars. A full rubble sack has yielded some good memories. I wrecked loads, with permanent marker, what do you all use to clean it off? I have tried baby wipes and Flash floor wipes. Even the Graphic Traffic ink won’t shift lol. I would like to clean some up and display them, so any advice is welcome! Datsuncog
bunglebus
Surgical spirit or meths. Hard to get it out of corners and lines though. Guessing you have 70s/80s cars if you have Graffic Traffics Out Run
Out Run
Yeah, some 70s. Mostly 80s for me. I did have older stuff, but my parents had to give a lot away, when we emigrated in 1988. I’ll try the meths clean up method. Cheers. Surprisingly, the pens still work (dunno why I wrote ‘Graphic!’). bunglebus
