DoctorRetro
Took a chance and bid on something that just said '2 cars' and had one crappy photo from above. I love the decidedly half-arsed application, at the front. Bonus points for caramac interior and Ghia trims, rather than the generic items that many later versions were sold with. That's pure 1980s, that one... I had one in 1985! In fact... I still have it - though rather the worse for wear. There's a photograph somewhere of me on the beach in Portrush with said Sierra, brand new out of the box. About ten minutes after the pic was taken, it got inadvertently sat on in a cafe, and the light bar broken off (amber, not red and blue like the Corgi catalogue pic). You can just imagine the tears... Still, it clearly received plenty of play afterwards...I also had a red version which ended up in a similar state with no bootlid etc, and much later I had a really nice metallic grey version, which I sold on here two years back (and now regret, naturally). Note the incorrect-era Scalextric numberplates I applied, which ultimately annoyed me more than it should have done... One thing I could never understand though, was why Corgi added tipping seats to a 5-dr car? Jon, Skizzer and Tenmil Socket 2

Bizarrely I have the giraffe type thing that’s sat in the drivers seat, I’ve had it for years in my spares box, never knew what it was from. bunglebus
As I mentioned earlier, the Roadmaster Corvette has some lovely detail on quite a smol car Also does this refer to the casting, or did the guy that made the moulds decide to initial it? 155V6
Another Sierra I thought this must be one of the most half-hearted BTCC replicas, but then I saw that they also did it in the black Texaco livery. There's also a BMW in the colours of Will Hoy's car when he won the championship, but they didn't have an M3 so they used a 525 ?
