I have the Heller kit which I don't think has that option, and is also a bit weird in that the doors are clear mouldings integral with the windows so will need careful masking. It must be based on the same, as this has the same clear mouldings for the interior doors. gonna have to be handpainted, as i'm shit with masking. Interior innit so no one will see.. Currently trying to work out how mud looks. I'm Colour-blind so that don't help in the slightest.

The Unimog was mine and I remember taking it to school for show and tell on the letter U. Everyone else had umbrellas and unicorns but I had a Unimog The rest in the first pic were @Slowsilver's childhood toys that he passed on to his older sister for his nephew to play with, then she gave them to me a few years ago. The ones in the second pic weren't mine so they must have come from someone else. RayMK, Datsuncog, warch and 1 other

eddyramrod
I should try and lay hands on one of those Corgi Mazdas for my 1/36 fleet, shouldn't I? A beige one would be good, then it could join my film/telly fleet as the one Lovejoy had. Although if I got one that was a bit rough, I'd have no qualms about painting it myself. eddyramrod
Here's the latest bunch to go under the drill... I'm going to have to get a tin of Valencia Blue, if I can, for the Herald. What you see on it now is an unholy mix of Humbrols, made by hand and eye a long time ago. Inside the back of the Ecurie Ecosse wagon. I didn't have to drill this one, it's held together by some sort of clip arrangement. Front screen is one of my home-made specials, held in by elderly Plasticine. The original was broken when I got it, used. Lucky to get the ramps and side door, I suppose. I haven't decided whether to leave the name cast into the sides, or file/grind it off. At the moment I haven't got a tub big enough to strip it in, so it's a bit academic. Now then... a nice parcel arrived from Mr Spottedlaurel of this parish. As a former Proton owner, what better to have my breakfast coffee in than a Proton mug? ...And a few rather nice models, which are now on my shelves upstairs. And to finish off, the latest batch of completed restorations. The driver in the Corgi Austin Healey is Roger Moore, salvaged from the Volvo P1800. Windscreens on both the sports cars are by me, cut from the moulded plastic that so many things come in these days. Split_Pin
Parcel arrived from @Spottedlaurel yesterday, Cheers! My friend had the Datsun when we were kids in the 1980s and I used to love it as the bonnet popped up like when you release the mechanism on a real car. I also had the Sierra as a kid, given to me by a classmate, long gone now. I can't recall if it was part of the BP or a separate Golden Wonder promotion. Corgi seemed to lean heavily on this channel in the 1980s which we've discussed previously. warch, Burnside, Datsuncog and 4 others

NorfolkNWeigh
Just had a sort out of my cabinet combined with an boxing/plinthing of some stuff that was sitting around. This has left these oddballs surplus to requirements , any good to anyone? Would swap for 1/36 Corgis or any everyday French cars. The spec lift is almost an AA Transporterbut not quite , came with a V70 I wanted. The Audi A4 is a funny scale pull back toy, only of interest to an A4 owner, I’d have thought. Horsebox is 1/43 and came with a Defender( Caraama?) Ferrari 166was a Shell promotion. Corgi Charlie Angels van is in good condition, I just don’t like it. Jeep Grand Cherokee has had is roof mounted dinghy stolen for a Lesney Land Rover. Hummer and Ice Cream van both Maidstone. The GS Camargue is Majorette and in VGC- I just don’t like concept cars. The Red Matchbox thing is pretty good and Rolomatic, thing is it must be the Tdi version as it only has one Rolomatic exhaust. The 1/24 300 SL has had a stay of execution because MrsN saw it and remembered buying it for my Birthday years ago!. Anyway made more space Datsuncog, Burnside and bunglebus
