I had a red Big Banger as a child. Engine fell out and it got tatty. No idea where it went, but it's taken me 40+ years to get around to obtaining another! It arrived in an eBay parcel last Thursday. To celebrate the event, two of its offspring popped over for a pose Have since caught-up and seen some later releases using the same basic body: I'm not going to go after them though, not if they couldn't be bothered to give them new model names.... I have some project spares of these, so will just make up my own Code-3 efforts ? Cosmic Banger coming right up! Also perhaps Hemi Hernia ? ....Perhaps not. Jon
Today's photo: These coaches were amongst a few offerings that Majorette seemed to tout as promotional pieces - the 3 axle Saviem trucks were another popular one. I'm sure I had a white and red coach as a kid but can't remember what company it advertised. I'm not a mega massive fan of these but thought they were worthy of a pick from the aforementioned 50p tub, on their condition alone. Also, it's nice to see the passengers demonstrating good social distancing practises, though I'm not sure that many people are rushing to head to Italy right now. egg, Split_Pin, RayMK and 6 others

barrett
That goes to show how much detail there is on that casting. In standard form it is, frankly, only barely recognisable as a Cortina, but with all the details picked out its immediately obvious what it is and actually is surprisingly accurate. You've done a really nice job. Weirdly, I don't think I've ever seen one of those in real life. I obviously never found one whilst searching through tat boxes at markets when I was a kid bunglebus and flat4alfa
