I've seven in your box at the moment, including the Unimog:

Matchbox Lotus Europa 0.50
Corgi Junior Volvo 245DL (white) 0.50
Corgi Junior Rover SD1 (blue) 0.50
Corgi Junior Rover SD1 (police older) 0.50
Corgi Junior Rover SD1 (police newer) 0.50
Corgi Junior Citroen Dyane 0.50
Majorette Unimog/Forklift 0.50

I've a feeling there may be another clearance event happening, come the New Year...

By the time this van was put out, Corgi had opted to etch no base markings at all - except the solitary and rather forlorn 'Made in Gt Britain'.

On a quality level, it's little better than those no-name diecast from the Far East which turn up in the tat boxes.

Funny enough, I've been having a sort out today and found my no-name Corgi Sierra - sold to another brand or were Corgi not putting their name to their products at this point?

Swapped the earlier base/wheels, uncracked glass and complete roofrack over onto my Mercury Commuter with unbroken pillars. Shame really as overall the donor was the better car.

Replaced the grille/bumper/light unit from a tatty Model A onto the So High. Original was brittle and crumbled as I removed it, they must have changed the type of plastic as the older Model As often have bent bumpers, but never broken off.

I thought the Corgi Rolls Royce and Bentley were the same casting, but they're completely different;

The 1:43 ish Bentley is derived from the late '60s Golden Jacks blue/white 2 door Silver Shadow (they certainly did the RR in whizzwheels in a one colour metallic mid blue).

The larger RR is a few years later when Corgi were upsizing their models.

The sole 1/64 Juniors one I was after arrived yesterday by the post lady. A variation rarity, I remember the catalogue entry from when I was a boy.

Marketplace spots...

Matchbox Motorcity sets in Bradford

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/592730458129095/

And in Darwen, surely value just for the Sunkist Transconti and 7up Merc SK?

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1401331000036706/

Those Motorcity sets look pretty decent - MB 610 Container Port and 620 Construction Set. Seems fairly reasonable at £20 a pop.

The other diecast job lot seems to have sold already, so clearly someone agreed with you!
