Cant comment on the Capri as I have never had a Corgi one, only a Matchbox Rolamatics Hot Rocker and a Super GT.

I do have both the Terrier and the Commando though. The Terrier cab is spot on, really accurate. Recent manufactures of the G-cab from BT models are way off in comparison. However the body and cab being one moulding always irritated me as a kid. Box trucks are meant to be a just that, a chassis, a body and a cab.

Whilst the Commando cab isn't quite as finely detailed and the side window is too shallow, it still does a pretty good job. But as a toy it has much more value. It has a separate body with opening doors and a proper chassis.

Although I have a big soft spot for 'Redline' Leylands due to their Scottish connection, the Commando is the better model.

So Sea Kings are no more inspiring in pieces! The gun turrets just pop out and the whole thing is held together with plastic 'rivets'. However the wheels use large metal rivets to hold them in place.

I'm going to do a custom with it - either just a re-paint an re-assemble or maybe 'civilianise' it and fill the gun turret holes in for the LOLs*

Do a Radio Caroline pastiche for giggles

I realised that my collection is starting to sprawl and to stray away from my initial intention of one original and one custom of each model.  So, I've decided to cut out a big pile of stuff and offload it on you lot.  I am happy to do swaps on any Husky, Matchbox (ideally pre-1980, not interested in really modern stuff for the most part), and parts such as glazing, doors, wheels, etc. for either of these manufacturers.  Prices do not include postage, that'll vary depending on how much you get so I'd prefer to post on a batch-by-batch basis.

Lorries - 10p each, £1 for the lot.  Bin lorry only has half the back, fridge truck has no back door (as usual)

Americans - 50p each, £2 for the lot

Lincoln SOLD to Sierraman

IMAG3162.thumb.jpg.65196cc53445dc05313faa01c6f6a539.jpg

Rolls Royces - 50p each, £1 for the lot (all intact except the drophead which is minus the glass and folded roof, has been drilled out too)

Random Lot - 10p for Cortina (no base, otherwise intact), 50p for the Routemaster, 50p for the Lamborghini

Routemaster SOLD to MarvinsMom

IMAG3164.thumb.jpg.582cc1edfee11523609f15cb23fb63dc.jpg

Unimog and Field Cars - 50p each, £1 for the lot.  Unimog missing glass and tyres.  White Field Car is a custom I abandoned, would be a fairly easy one to complete for someone with a file and a can of paint.

IMAG3165.thumb.jpg.c66192190e1ee96bdbea0f30b3e658f0.jpg

Random lot #2 - 10p each, 50p the lot.  The Seasprite hellingflopter is actually in reasonable shape and complete, the rest are just good for parts.

Hurlyfloofer SOLD to Egg

VW Camper SOLD to Sierraman

Brace of Fandangos - 50p.  Buy one, get one free!

I apologise for the shittiness of the photographs.  Just pretend it's part of the experience, as if you're feverishly rummaging through the Tat Box with Datsuncog.  Next up, repaints, for which I shall use my better quality archive photographs.  As with the above, postage is extra and will vary depending on how much you grab.

Terrific toy that, I have several pictures of me as a lad with one my Granny gave me.

"PD to Z Victor 4"

"He's got a gun" (pistol fires twice)

I'd love a mint one again as my existing example is well battered.

A Ramrod Original?  Sadly not!  It came as part of a job lot from another Shiter some time ago, and went in your box as it became clear that I wouldn't be doing anything with it.  It's a rather nice paintjob tbh, just wants a bit of tlc.

The Maserati is unusual the front and rear axle sets are different.

It is odd - the early releases came like that but the later gold, red and blue ones should match - according to Wiki

*edit* just realised mine was an earlier one which there was no image for on Wiki - there is now...*
