RoadworkUK
I wore that badge (well, not that one) to the Brentwood Autoshite Gathering some years ago. It was much admired. egg and Six-cylinder
Crispian_J_Hotson
Man and machine in perfect harmony? I watched the crash testing of the Sierra last night. It bothered me that I had owned one. 😀 RoadworkUK

I've yet to see anything from that era have what we would now call a reasonable crash test result. Maybe the odd big Merc and possibly a SAAB, but other than that, most vehicles had a crumple zone that was basically your face. adw1977
Anybody want the 2020 Autoshite calendar that I've just taken down? Still in excellent condition, not written on, seems a bit of a shame to chuck it but I really can't be hoarding any more car-related paper. Postage cost £1.99. N19
I've just acquired one of these as a spare for the Mondeo in case it ever packs up. If nobody else wants it, I'd happily have it as a spare-spare... but not at the expense of someone who needs it now.

I listen almost exclusively to 80’s music so it wasn’t a problem, listening to the tapes with all the greats on it like Bryan Ferry, Sade, Scritti Politti... Youngteam
Found this water pump at the back of the shed. I bought it for a 2001 VW Polo 1.4 a few years back and it never got used. Looks like it fits various VAG cars. Any use to anyone?

Sh'Eds
Mores stuff. x2 Peugeot 14" Alloys. Tyres are ancient Uniroyal Rain Experts that were practically brand new when taken off car. However vermin (Squirrels I think) have destroyed one by eating a hole in the side wall. Other is good but 2011 date so use at risk.

Sh'Eds
And more.... Jag XJ40 fuel pump, was new but being incompetent I broke one of the wiring connection threaded studs. Never fitted it and has been sat in junk pile ever since c.10 years. May be possible to repair or solder wire direct to terminal. Golf MK3 GTI engine mount. Unknown vehicle idler pulley. Probable Peugeot 306. 2x beetle speedometer.
Talbot
For info, the idler pulley looks like the cambelt tensioner pulley from an XUD (non-turbo or turbo) engine, fitted to [insert any XUD-engine'd car here] Sh'Eds

I did once do a timing belt on a 306 Diesel so it is probably from then. Been sat in the pile of spare parts for probably 10 years so my memory needs help!
