Spiny Norman
Ace thread, thanks for all the pics. Funny how the cars from a hot environment suffer in ways we just don't see in cold wet Blighty. Faded paint, heat damaged rubber trims etc.All we ever see is rust and mildew.
Split_Pin
I love the side shots that you have taken of a lot of your spots, cant put my finger on why they look so good. I've tried that with my cars before but it just looks ordinary. Please keep these spots coming - particularly of the Minis as they look just that bit different from UK ones. That too, but if you look closely there are differences, such as the use of front quarter lights.

CreepingJesus
Aermacchi Chimera, Rab. Lovely old thing - late 50's Italian style at its' best.Keep 'em coming; the best thing about a spots thread from somewhere other than where you live, is it always seems that bit more unfamiliar. I spend ages looking at the everyday stuff in the background!

KruJoe
Epic thread, Rab! I've just been back and re-read the whole thing as 'research' for our Oz trip in January. The vids are ace, too!Are you staying in Victoria (The Place To Be!) then? If so, I'll miss you this time. Shame. I'm sure you could pass on some tips for the road-trip we have planned. What's this one please Rab?I can see elements of all sorts in that, but I just can't quite pin it down. An Oz-only model?

I think in your case Michiel..you have a tradition of controlling the waters..here unfortunately a bushfire is extremely unpredictable..and we re moving into what they call a catastrophic period..prolonged heat with high winds...its a bit wierd becos today was 22C..Friday will be 37C..but we are coastal..inland..its cooking...cars featured in the previous post ..Ballarat..there was a big fire there yesterday..and some very lucky calls... KruJoe
Hello from Sunny Adelaide, SA!Some great spots going on there in VIC, Rab! I've only been here a few days, just arrived from Sydney. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quantity of old tat here, also. Of course, I'm papping where I can, and will share in good time. We've just had a couple days in Victor Harbor, seemingly a retirement community for the bewildered, and pickings were rich. It was about 12*C and a howling gale last night (chilly on Granite Island), we were under-dressed after seeing 40 degrees in the daytime! Bush fires have been all over the news this week too. Serious stuff.Keep 'em coming Rab, I'll post mine up when I can. Next stop: Coober Pedy and on to the Red Centre...
DSdriver
Mmmm ... the red merc 2door and the amber alfa for me please if you can wrap them in bubblewrap and pop them in the post.
