AnthonyG
good to hear it works well. The bodywork certainly passes the 10 yard test!
warren t claim
I'm still stunned that I actually bough a car based on a majority verdict of a bunch of virtual strangers on an internet forum!
RobT
The strange thing is I can move the arm on the injection pump a good 20 degrees before the revs start to rise. Is this normal? My BX diesel is the same, so I'd say yes that's normal. Mine has a baggy-arsed throttle response so it needs a good prod!
warren t claim
Here's the manky fuel filter in all its glory. Hardly surprising that the poor thing was struggling to top 80mph.
dollywobbler
Here's what I discovered today with my BX's fuel filter housing. Yuck!

baldrickthecunning
Congratulations, most people who own a diesel Peugeot 405 will definitely commend them. Shame that most are quite worn out now. Estate is much more usable / practical than most other estates.
Cavcraft
Hey Waz typical of your luck (or not, as the case may be) a late Xantia dizzler estate has come up for sale near Ellesmere Port. I have strong suspicions the vendor may be an itinerant metal collector with church-roof-scaling kids mind you.
Futuramic
Here's what I discovered today with my BX's fuel filter housing. Yuck! Presumably the previous owner mixed up his Chinese takeaway leftovers and used black bean sauce instead of veg oil.
