PaykanHunter
It would be interesting to find out if exporting a car from Iran is possible. Once you get it out of the country, you should be able to import it almost anywhere, I would imagine. Just a thought.Sure... but you need to provide a translated from Farsi documentation to DVLA, and I wonder if they would accept that, well hang on a minute, how does it work for importing cars from Italy, Germany,... do people have to translate them for DVLA? eddyramrod
Hmm, not much in it, is there? Could be either. Avenger would make sense on a parts-sharing basis. And, er, no idea, I've never shipped a car internationally.
PaykanHunter
I am not 100% convinced that it was the Avenger, I think the Housing could be the same, but they changed the lens perhaps. SO far I haven't seen a clear evidence of where these Paykan Face-Lift headlights came from, they could have been unique also, remember that Chrysler/Rootes were loving Iran by that time for keeping the Production going! But I guess we need to stop this Paykan shite now, cause this is Shite Pickups Thread!
eddyramrod
International trading probably deserves its own thread, actually, so if you find out about exporting perhaps you'd open one? Meanwhile...

PaykanHunter
Oh Yes you can! The Dash has flat spots on both side, so that is not an issue, most likely you need a new steering Box. This guy has done it Australia, that is a proper Paykan Pick up down under!

Cavcraft
Someone really should try and import one of those Pie-can pick-up things. What are the chances of a new one being anywhere even close to our emission laws though?

PiperCub
I'm after a small pickup myself but all that's available is either too big, too expensive or utterly munted junk! (Want an old short-bed F100 or Chevy LUV V8 but couldn't afford the petrol - or the purchase price come to that).Whats the first one? Is it a VW/Skoda Caddy?
