  1. 1 previous owner from new,64000 miles,new tyres allround,fitted by previous giffer owner,original radio/cass,
  2. 52 plate K2 Recently MOT Pass (Monday!) Advisories - 1x exhaust slightly noisy (dB killer refitted) 1x front tyre approaching 1x chain slightly tight (it's bang on when adjusted last week but I'll recheck it). 12k on clock. Bobbins, RedScorpion can. Rest bog-standard. £2500 as is Better pics to come if needed/required. Here before lolbay and mongtree. Previous mx injury and wire in shoulder means sit up and beg style needed. I know its not shite per se but its over 10 years old. Thanks, Sam
  3. I have a load of car parts which are nearly all a collection that I have bought for cars I have owned, the new are oil filters, air filter, fuel filters, cabin filters, track rod ends etc.. I am not after a kings ransom for them just make me an offer and postage is extra.. I am in need of the Garage / Shed space, if you do Auto jumbles why not make me an offer for the lot ? Metro.. K series mechanical fuel pump, 1.1l Metro 1.1 k series Fuel filter.. Metro / Reliant brake shoes. The following pics are MK Golf AHF ( 1997/8 ) but are likely to fit on any VAG with that engine.. Not just engine parts here but Track rod ends, wiper mechanism, brake hoses, door locks, Brake pads.. loads of stuff.. As you can see there is genuine parts there, the Hepu box is a genuine coolant pump and VAG cam belt kit.. ]
  4. I’m losing the battle of justifying to myself the need for two council lock-ups anymore, especially as only one of them is housing an actual car now. The reality of this realisation is that a whole host of my stuff must be rehomed, thusly I shall post up the woeful, the dire and the gopping for your delectation and potential purchase. Here y’are then: 4 x LS400 (UCF10) 15 inch wheels with good tyres. Bought them to beautify my LS (UCF10) but was bereaved to discover that, being the facelift version, it had larger brakes that require the 16 inch wheels. Ratscocks. Sold 5 x Mk1 Granada Ghia alloys. £50 Ford Type F 4 speed gearbox (removed from a 55k miles, 1975 2000E Cortina) Sold RS2000 exhaust manifold. (Gearstick not included) Sold Mk2 Granada wheel arch panel. Sold Mk3/4/5 Cortina 1600 propshaft. Sold
  5. Hello Shiters! I bought some N.O.S parts last week, and have spent a bit of time sorting through them and cataloguing them. I've thought I'd offer them to shiters first as there are some crackers in there (timing belt for a Bluebird 2.0 Diesel anyone?) With them being New Old Stock, the boxes are dusty/could be damaged but the parts themselves are in decent condition (if sometimes a touch dusty) I've looked at the prices online for the same items on Ebay and Amazon, and decided to charge approx 50% less. Prices are included in the tables below. Postage is £2.95 PER ITEM for oil filters and timing belts Rather than stick up a million pics, please send me a PM with Part/s you are after Car Make/Model/Engine Size Car Year and I'll double check they'll fit and send you a picture back to confirm. Oil Filters Timing Belts
  6. VW Passat 1.9 TDI SE Estate - 1999 'T' reg. MOT until the end of June 2019 - no advisories 145,000 miles approximately This car has been in the same family since it was around 1 year old, purchased from Hawco VW in Inverness, still has dealer number plates and so on... Proper no nonsense engine, good condition for a 20 year old car, and very economical to run. Really well looked after, owned for the past 15 years by a proper old school mechanic, anything that ever needed done was done without question. There is some early service history for the first 5 years or so, all done by Hawco VW Inverness, with the booklet stamped up until then, along with nicely handwritten notes to go alongside. Unfortunately in recent years its not had any history recorded, but it has had the cambelt replaced and engine serviced at 140,000 miles, plus two new Avon tyres on the front. Registration for eagle eye MOT checkers is T138LNV - pretty clean history on that front too. Its all clean and original, a few rust bubbles around the front arches, but nothing serious. Lovely blue paintwork. The only things I think that aren't original is the addition of a full size spare wheel with alloy, sourced by Hawco's in its early days, and a tow-bar. Has a CD multichanger in the back and the boot liner is present too. No pets or smokers Based up near Inverness and looking for £850 or offers. Even if vaguely interested please feel free to message and I will pass on full details and try to sort out some photographs early next week.
  7. 1 owner from new,silver,genuine 46000 miles,2003 sunroof was leaking,ok now, so its a super duper 2 door clio dynam billabong,1100cc,2 logbooks,blue,red one,new tyre fitted,some history,tax still on,but is disabled,original bill sale £6000.be quick gumtree bound,£400,BOLTON.
  8. Volvo 850 T5 CD Estate, 225+ BHP, 1997, P. Reg, Auto, Low Mileage (159 629 miles). Last of the 850’s, registered 19/3/97. Service History (20 Volvo dealer/specialist service stamps). 5 Factory T5 Columba Alloy wheels (refurbished approx. 3 years ago) but still in excellent condition. 4 matching P7 Pirelli 205 x 50 x 16 tyres (the correct size/fit) with plenty of tread/life in them. Metallic grey, Leather interior, Electric memory power heated driver’s seat, Electric Windows x 4, Roof Rails, Electric Mirrors, Climate Control, Air-Con, Cruise Control, Factory Stereo with Alpine CD in boot. Roof Spoiler. Full Logbook in my name and address. 2 sets of Keys/Fobs. Recent/fresh MOT (May 2020). Higher octane fuel always used. 3 previous owners, the last owner/enthusiast for 15 years. Ive owned this 850 for approx. 18 months, an travelled just 5000 miles in that time. Cambelt changed at 139 238 miles. A new Driveshaft/2 gaiters fitted last year. Classic Insurance, so a fully comp policy costs less than £200 per year. No Pets, a non-smokers car, no tow bar. These 850 T5’s are thin on the ground, look around, there are not many available. This is the CD spec, it’s the next model down from the very desirable 850 T5 R, so it can only really increase in value. Note - Previous owner had this chipped? But I have no written proof/Dyno read-outs/prints to prove this? However…I have owned another 850 T5, also an early C70 T5 GT (240 BHP) but both of those cars did not drive/feel as “aggressive” as this 850 T5!...So, a “Sleeper” with the potential to embarrass well known sports cars/hot hatches! This is not a show car, it does have blemishes/marks, an after all…it is over 22 years old. Study the photo’s, the car is bone dry in the pics, no professional valeting or detailing/polishing here, just a clean/dry car. Insured and taxed, so test drives are welcome. Reluctant sale, no Test Pilots or Joy Riders required. Priced to sell at just £1495. Texts are time consuming, so a phone call/chat is the better option. 07936 027216. I'm in Kent, approx. 20 miles from the Dartford Tunnel, near Maidstone. Points to consider – Drivers side front wing shows signs of a small rust patch (a very common fault with the 850). Slight distortion in side of Bumper (below rust patch on drivers wing). Both front leather seats are worn/cracked, but no rips/holes (driver’s seat being the worst). Previous owner sourced a matching coloured Tailgate (Tailgate is from a V70) It’s a perfect fit, but the high level brake light(top of glass) is the giveaway, that it’s from a V70. 2 small indents in both drivers/passengers lower doors (just below door trim). Rust scab on rear of roof (size of a 10 pence piece). Drivers door card edge has small tears (I think previous owner used to catch the seat belt?). Battery is sluggish, when starting car. Scuff on corner of rear bumper (passenger side). Load cover no longer retracts (another common 850/V70 fault!)
  9. I've just purchased the astra from HMC on here so thought it best to put my smart fortwo on here. Its red in colour(comes up as silver due to colour of tridion shell) I'd say condition is ok but other people would say it's good. It's quite a high specced little car with heated seats and aircon(its warm.) It has a panoramic roof. It has 2 sets of spare alloys which will come with the car. It has a split in the rear plastic about 4 inches along. It uses approximately 1 litre of oil per 400 miles. It does smell when accelerating aswell but dont know what the smell is. Its MOTd till October and has 1 key fob. Its £30 tax and it's the 700cc engine. It always starts and does he speed limit. Being a smart the gearbox needs time to decide when it should change gear.(they all do this) It has electric windows and also leather steering wheel(rare as has 3 spokes and paddles-same as the brabus) All warning lights go on the go off as they should. I'm wanting £300 for the car. I'm in Plymouth thanks Thomas.
  10. the skip lovely known as,3 previous owners, last one did not give a toss, only 62000 miles, ice cold aircon, heater works on number 4 only, new resistor inc, work done in my hands front discs/pads,new timing belt, tensi, just done saturday,it had not been done since new,two front partworns, great winter michelins,1 key, original owner had it in greece for 7 years, usual laquar peel on bonnet, etcservice books, handbook, etc, drives fine, electric windows allround, remote central locking, new struts fitted rear hatchback made in feng dong, needs bloody good wash/clean,BL12LT
  11. Yo crew A mate of my dads, dad died a few months back and has had this from new. It’s auto and runs out of mot in a month it ain’t mint but it ain’t bad according to my dad, apparently drives bob on. Anyhow he wants £1400 no offers if it’s any good to anyone let me know, I know he won’t take any less and he doesn’t want people ringing who ain’t going to come and have a look. Not sure if it’s cheap or expensive but I did say I would ask about and if anyone is interested I will let him know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have just made a late night Ebay purchase, so the little Charade has to go. Mrs Cade bought a Fiat 500L, so I bought her wee red Daihatsu for running round the site. It's a little smoll for the dug, my tools and I really need a towbar so I'm moving it on. The 9-5 Aero is staying.... 2004- Reg is DV04YLC. Charade 5 door SL,- yep, the Luxury one. £30 a year road tax. Insurance was £200 FC with no- no claims, it does well over 50 MPG and even says "Hello HaPPy" when you start it up Being an SL, it has central locking, electric mirrors, JVC mechless stereo with USB, electric windows and freezing cold AIR CON. It's never asked anything since we've had it, apart from some new tyres. The original alloys were really tatty and the centre caps were missing, so I got 4 Kia Picanto wheels and trimz and put them on. You can have the alloys if you want too. It is really tiny, but surprisingly good on the motorway- 85 is easily possible as a cruise, and it sounds great being a triple. 2 keys, original handbook and wallet and some old reciepts and mot's. The cambelt kit was changed October 2017 and an exhaust in September 2017. MOT is 20th July. Bad points? The EML is on- code is for a Lambda sensor. It's been running around the campsite for a few months so needs a good blast, Lambda sensor is £20 off Ebay Front bumper has been touched up- paint was peeling off so it was sanded and brushed in. Washer bottle is cracked at the top. Holds some water and the washers work fine- rear one doesn't. That's about it- it's a mega cheap to run, fun wee car that surprised me how good it is at being an car. I gave £400 for it, and would like this back if poss. Don't have any pics at the mo, apart from this one parked behind the Saab. Will try and get some more tomorrow, but it needs a good hoover because Bassett.
  13. I am dipping my toe in the water but it would be good to judge the interest. This is a car I had about 3 or 4 years ago, it ran beautifully and was tidy inside with a Dolomite 1300 SE dash fitted. This was sold to Kes on this here forum and taken up to sunny Anglesey. Sadly the necessary work was put on the back burner. This came back to me a couple of months ago and I have done a few bits and pieces. I have bought several bits for the car: New plugs, HT leads, oil filler cap, rad cap and brass radiator plug (a worthy upgrade). There is also a new choke cable, oil filter and the rocker cover has been cleaned up, rust killed and painted. I have new foam gasket and screws for the rear light clusters and a good used part loom for the number plate lights. Front foot well carpet sections (both sides). HL door cards supplied with wood door cappings. Work needed: A battery is required. Spares need fitting. Cooling system has been drained and needs refilling (will do if I can). Bodywork: The car has its issues. The boot floor needs a section cutting out and new metal letting in, the recess where the tank sits needs cutting out and a new section welding in as well, I have a good spare section already. A couple of patches needed for the O/S sill. The rear 1/4 panel near the top of the rear end needs a repair section fabricating. The boot lid needs a tidy but yet again is hugely viable. The N/S chassis rail will need a small patch too I think. Small patches required here and there, nothing truly major. A couple of the doors need a little bit of work but remain entirely usable. The A pillars need a clean up and fix but again, very typical of the Dolomite range. The section by the 3 rear vents just above the rear screen needs cleaning up, rust killing and painting. Passenger front footwell needs a credit card sized patch. The exhaust is solid but is covered in surface rust, a good clean up will sort it. This is a project car but one that is hugely viable with not a huge amount of work in the scheme of things. The front valance and front wings are all spot on. The car is a great colour, Brooklands Green. The car is located in Edmonton, North London and will need to be dollied or trailered. Price is £775 which will see my expenditure covered. The value of these cars is finally increasing and once sorted would be a great little thing to blat about in. Photos to follow.
  14. Evening all! Up for grabs is this bright green Ford Ka! I bought this a few years back for my (now thankfully ex) wife to learn to drive. After she decided she didn't want it my brother had it from me as his car had failed it's MoT. When I had it: The Facts: 2007 Ford Ka Style MOT Until 27/06/19 About 77,000 miles In Stratford Upon Avon with my brother The good: The car is in good condition. It runs well - engine is smooth and Ka's handle surprisingly well!. Not a huge amount of rust - even round the fuel filler cap! My brother has spent a lot on it in the last 6 months it has had * a new clutch * new rear wheel bearing * Two new front tyres * New heater matrix It's very green It has been cared for well. Custom decals The bad Custom decals Did had to have some repair welding in the last MoT - was done to a decent standard, but it is a Ka - this won't be the last time it needs the sparkly stick! But to my knowledge there's nothing imminent. Small patch of rust to the drivers side arch Heater is either on hot or off. probably needs a repair to the switch. The price: My brother has it up for £750 on Facebook. Shiters discount applies so £650 to any of you lovely lot! So overall a fun little car - super if you're anything from 19 to 90!
  15. In a blatant attempt to take advantage of what is probably our summer thought I would test the water today. Probably above the usual Autoshite bangernomics budget but easier life on here than ebay etc etc I picked this up as a daily for 12 months 2 years ago and love it! 83k potted history but serviced twice in my ownership. Had 4 new good year tyres when I bought it and new brake pads on the back. The brakes are currently squeaking a bit - will clean if I get time, Comes with set of Brembo discs and pads for front - not needed but bought and not had chance to fit. It’s auto - roof works perfectly comes with official merc wind deflector. MOT is July. Drives great - did north coast 500 and used daily with no issues - economy is reasonable. It’s a three foot car - looks good in pics but plenty of marks and blebs - rust on wings as is the norm - worst in pics - will need doing in due course but not unsightly - I spend more time cleaning and waxing this than the expensive cars in the fleet!! I’m not convinced I want to sell and will regret it but I have another ‘toy’ car and could do with something with 4 seats - been offered a family car which has sentimental appeal but one out one in - if no one fancies I can see me keeping another 2 years!! I’m looking for £2k - tell me if I am taking the piss - I know you will!! Comes with model of car with correct colour and plates - that has to be worth an extra couple of hundred?!?!? If it rains tomorrow I’m sure value will plumit!
  16. Right been going through some of my Diecast collection in recent weeks and decided I could do with clearing out some space. 17. A few years back I sort of got into collecting die-cast and then the interest withered away. So I’m now getting round to clearing this lot out. 18. Right i bought this to do the car shows next year, but now i have an XM estate big enough to sleep in I don't need it. First off, I've never opened it out to check it although the owner stored it in a garage and assured me it was ok. It has no top cover with it, I used a tarp to get it home. Its a braked trailer with a spare wheel. The link below shows the very poor pictures from when I got it off ebay. I need it to go this weekend, as i need to put a car in the garage. It the tent bit is knackered you've a cracking basis to make a braked car trailer for tip runs etc. It towed fantastic at 70 mph behind my Bx. Collect from coventry, can't deliver as my only ca with a towball has sprung another leak. Ebay link to pictures. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RACLET-TRAILER-TENT-/192699340020?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=8bgCJknj8%252B2xXBS1UXZXotdKLsI%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc
  19. I find myself in a position where I really want something that isn't this, and I have only got space for two outside. So what is it? It's a pretty basic entry level AX facelift, with the 954cc engine which still somehow had a carburettor at this stage. It drives cheerily enough, not as much go as the 1.1 but that's to be expected. Everything seems to work, but very little is electronic. The original stereo is still in situ and works well, but one of the speakers has given up. The rot spots have been seen to, and welded in a decent fashion, so don't worry about those yet. It has some decent patina to it. Faded paint all over and some overspray OAP markings. It does have some downsides. The MOT is quite short, the brakes judder a tad when it's slowing down at certain speeds, but the brakes work. There is a droning noise too, unsure if it's connected. 4 very good tyres on it. Clutch is good. Comes with two very good spare wheels. Comes with a lot of spares too, including two spare front struts with hubs attached, and about 8 Debut wheel trims. The seats are in fine fettle, just a needing a little clean. I am in Basingstoke and can provide more photos per request. Can deliver. £300 or very nearest offer.
  20. So the Perodua finally passed its MOT on Saturday, which was a relief after the hours of fun* I had crawling around underneath replacing a front to rear brake pipe. The emissions are now back down where a low-mileage Japanese engine should be since I plugged the Lambda sensor back in. It had a new pair of drop links on the front as well. It's not a bad thing to drive as moderns go, if not exactly the most involving steer. It goes OK with its 1.3 VVTi engine, which is nicked from the almost identical Daihatsu Sirion and shared with the Toyota Yaris (although I am reliably informed by Skattrd that the Daihatsu version of the VVTi system is better). It's pretty good on fuel now the Lambda sensor is working, and it holds its own on the motorway. It's quite well equipped for a budget car, with remote locking, electric windows all round, aircon and a built-in CD player which doesn't sound too bad but isn't going to send any audiophiles into a spontaneous orgasm. It's fairly tidy all round although it does have a few bruises and the front bumper isn't 100% (more of which later). It's fairly clean inside and quite spacious for a small car, being basically a box on wheels. It has a few issues, which are the reason it's cheap, although none of them affect its usability: The aircon doesn't seem to do anything - could just need a regas m8, could be something more. The rear tyres are getting towards the end of their useful life. The driver's door mirror was kicked off by a ne'er-do-well prior to my ownership. I've cobbled it back together and it is functional but less than aesthetically perfect, plus the glass is a little small (ordered one for a Sirion on the assumption that they'd be the same, but they're not). The engine light comes on after a while - this appears to be due to a sensor for the VVTi - there is a newish-looking sensor in the vicinity of the camshafts which could be it, if it was wired in by the same mong who did the Lambda then it might not be working properly. And finally it's been the subject of an insurance claim at some point in the past - I'm not sure what category and they've all changed since then anyway, but it appears to have had a fairly minor bump on the front - the front bumper has pushed out OK but is a bit the worse for its adventure, and the metal support bar behind has been bent back - someone has cable tied a block of wood to the front of it to keep the bumper in place. Mileage is about 58K, it has a full MOT as said, and it's in NE Norfolk. Pics (sorry they're a bit shite, sun was making it awkward yesterday)::
  21. BACKGROUND This was my WBOD for 2016 > 2017. Brilliant runner for the winter, started on the button, great heater, 50mpg and comfy dizzling commuter for over 3000 miles. Then MOT expired, the sills I tore to pieces with a stick, bought a Rover 420 as SBOD instead and it has sat behind my gates since. Didn't want to get rid as there are only 68 left with this engine ! COLLECTION THREADAGE Bit pointless but I might as well for my own amusement. I didn't get round to putting the thread at the time, so here, proper belately, it is [From L to R] Oh look! A spare space on the drive. Travel pack at the ready. Off we go, oh woe. Wazz #1. Train #1. Cor look at that roof. Morning! Sir John. Munchies and mag. Wazz #2 (I'm getting on a bit) Going underground, going underground. Train #2. Arrival at destination, oop norf. Zombies?!?. Looks not unlike Luton from here. Hello Mr Northern Rover R8 Club Person. Pez #1 - you only need one Pez stop with these frugal old school dizzlers, so there will be no Pez #2 sorry. Dealer sticker in effect. Every car needs a shelf for your cheap nav, phone and/or drink. I do not understand the humour. Getting there and dusk is looming, glad I'm well away from the Zombie zone. Spare money found upon arrival ! AS IT IS NOW The same, but rustier and slightly grubbier. Alloys went into the shed to keep/sell Moving house soon so must go. It is up and running and driving, but most would see it as a breaker. It has - XUD 1.8 Intercooled Turbo with CAV pump - Water tight, oil tight, never overheated, etc.. - It's in JRG. - Good gearbox, much clutch. - Good doors, boot lid, bonnet (but that got a dink). - All glass, working sunroof, working windows, working mirrors. - Good bumpers front rear. - Beige AS dashboard. - It's in JRG. - All anciliaries, I did say it was running. - WORKING CLOCK. - Crumbly giffer-style filled arches all round (not by me). - Service book, receipts, V5C in my name. - It's in JRG. WHERE I AM AT Sill and arch repair panels are readily available for not-a-lot, but Wife said NO. Car Take Back said YES with offer of £91 last week. Offered on here! As engine ideal for that Austin Maxi conversion you have in the pipeline. £71 to autoshiter? Yes it will drive onto a trailer or drag on a frame ok. The £20 difference I will pay into the AS coffers. Will have to go whole though, as I have yet another car to get out the garage and fuss/sell that as well. Bedfordshire, just west of M1 jn 11.
  22. I've too many cars and a pending operation. I originally got this as being a auto would be handy for after my op. However I've now got the xm all legal and doubt I'll use the xantia and it's just sitting in a garage nice and warm. It's an early sinker, L reg in silver. Interior is lovely, bodywork has a few patches of lacquer peel but no rust. Both sills have dents in from being caught on a high curb when it was with a prior owner. It drives nice but could possibly do with a tyre or two as they've gone hard, but have legal tread. Not for about 6 months, has done about 30 miles since last one. Heater blowers don't work, suspect ignition switch, it needs the common relay mod doing. If you take a live feed to the heater fuse they all work nicely. Only other thing I can remember is the radiator fans come over for a few minutes when you first turn fans on. If there's any interest I'll get some photos put up. Was thinking around 300 notes? It's in Coventry. The girlfriend will shoot me as originally it was going to be her run around when she visits UK but getting it insured for her was a nightmare as a non UK resident.
  23. Thought I'd keep what occupies my lunch breaks all in the one thread, I have been very busy the last few months bringing these two (and the Audi, for sale as soon as a replacement V70 arrives) up to scratch. First up, a rather dashing Mk1 Focus Estate, State blue 125k (I think, I will check when the snow passes over) OIRO £600 1.6 16v ZetecAlloy WheelsA/cHeated front screenBoth keys & remote lockingFull MotMassive bootI have given the car a minor service, stripped and rebuilt the front brakes and put a good pair of budget tyres on the front. It has covered under 1000 miles in the last couple of years and is still a little musty inside, it would make a cracking workhorse or boot sale bus for someone. I shall add more pictures once I have had a chance to clean it properly, but right now it's snowing sideways so it'll have to wait. Next up is a slightly dogeared Berlingo Multispace, it's the 1.9 dw8 engine, and has covered 151k £650 OVNO Remote locking & both keysElectric windowsCd playerErrm...Big bootI've given it an interim service, a new spring, replaced the master cylinder and the brake fluid, new front discs & pads, put 2 part worn tyres on the front, done the tracking and am now in the process of giving it a through clean inside and out. Faults that i'm aware of are that the RH mirror is damaged, the scuff on the LHR quarter panel, the engine is quite oily (most of them are, but I always mention these things up front). It is due a cam belt at the next service due to age. I am located in South Lincolnshire, close to either Boston or Lincoln for public transport access. Any questions, please ask.
  24. Due to the success of Eddie Hondas mug roffle I thought we could raise some funds for either the Hendry fundrazer or the forum hosting. A company that I'm involved with prints mugs and clothing. I can get them at 'mates rates' so could sell them fairly cheaply while still giving a good cut to the forum. I'm not planning on earning any money myself. Would £5 a mug sound fair? My plan was to deliver most of it to Shitefest to save on postage but I could post things out afterwards to folk who can't make it. Skizzer has kindly agreed to let me use this brilliant forum banner that he designed. There are a few other variations on this thread. EH came up with the rather good suggestion of a Shitefest 18 design. I can just about work MS Paint so if anyone would like to have a go at a SF18 design then send it to me is a really high resolution that would be grand.
  25. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123114662302 The "Buy it now" I have in mind is £3.5k, as the range of prices for IIB FC's seems to range from £2k for a useless pile of bits through to £8-10k for a really tidy clean fresh MOT'd one, with MOT'd tatty ones at £5-6k and un-MOT'd but driveable ones at £4-ish-k. This has an Overdrive fitted, which is well over £500 worth these days (quite how that ever happened is beyond me) and so £3.5k seems about right. Shiters discount applies, and the first person with £3k can have it. (I haven't a clue how a pile of old shite like this ever became worth more than a grand, but I've got bills to pay and I'm *never* going to get around to restoring it, so here it is.)
