I wish I lived near here looks like there's going to be some good bargains: https://www.johnpyeauctions.co.uk/lot_list.asp?saleid=5177&siteid=1 I think the 'contents of racking' looks good if you can pick them up

My oldest decided to buy this from his mates Mum without saying a thing to us.. (I pulled a similar stunt on my parents when I was 15, but at least the car I got was insurable & there was room for it at my parents at the time!) He hasn't passed his test (or even his theory), & being a 2.0 hot hatch, its uninsurable for him, so its gotta go That was a few months ago, his Mums Punto was turfed out into the street (& promptly got its mirror knocked off), now it needs to go. Its mechanically fine, there's no warnings on the dash. He spunked £70 odd on a new battery. It is due a timing belt, & according to his mates Mum, the garage told her it needs roll bar links (included) & "brakes" for its next MOT (didn't specify what exactly "brakes" ment, likely just pads, but who knows). Bodily its ok rust-wise, there's lacquer loss on the bonnet (its black, solvable with a tenners worth of vinyl) & a few dinks & marks here & there, but not terrible for a 19yo pug. Interior is very good (half leather). It has no stereo. He wants his money back, £350, otherwise I`ll remove a few saleable bits & take it to the bridge, which seems a shame.. Its in Dagenham, off the A13. Its Sorned & the MOT ran out a few months back. You can change the roll bar links & whatever the brakes need & take it straight for an MOT if you want (but will need to be done promptly), otherwise will need to be towed.

Sorry for linking and running but I only have my tablet on me and it's a pain in the arse uploading from this... All info in the link, offers are viewed more favourably from fellow shiters https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155508971236857&id=682766856

Anyone need any parts off a 2001 E46 318i (2.0) Touring? I bought this to haul our Lab puppy about last year, and he has pretty much demolished it. Add to that a very baggy front suspension and needing new brakes, I reckon its time is done. Wheels, gearbox and linkage are gone, Drivers front wing is bollocksed but the rest of the panels are pretty reasonable. It's Titan Silver. Anyone need anything for a car that's too shit for autoshite? It's getting torn to bits over the weekend and scrapped next week so let me know if anything can help anyone out. Big stuff will need collecting from DN33 or DN40, I could post small stuff for postage/ Cheers Shiters! Mike

I bought this in January this year to use whist I did a few jobs on my R16, but I have enjoyed this so much, I have done cock all at the 16. I now really need to do the 16 so I'm going to move this on. When I got it the lady I bought I off was quite keen to tell me how she'd only don 100 miles in it in three years, like it was a good thing. On the drive home the clutch started slipping. Doh. Anyway, I put a new clutch in it and have done a hundred other jobs on it. Now it's in use daily and drives really well( as a scruffy Minor can) I've really enjoyed fitting bits that ive had haging around for years like a set of rear seat belts, a heated rear window, clock,a Sharp radio cassette, spent way too long fitting discreet speakers, rear spring bushes, new carb jet and needles. I have got a pair of good chrome bumper blades to go with it and a litre of Trafalgar blue brushing enamel to do the bumper plinth, boot lid and touching up around the car. It doesn't need tax, optional M.O.T( it has one until Nov) and it cars me £25 to and it to my renault policy. You buy this, use it for 12 months and will always get your money back. The plan was to do the bits on it that it needed when the Renault is on the road and sell it at a profit next year. I've just had a big, unexpected bill drop on me, so I'll just see if many of you want it at a shiters rate, otherwise it's back to plan A and stash it over the winter. I could do with a bit of a tickle with the sparkly stick, but nothing major. Price £1600 Shiters price £1350. It's in Manchester. Unfortunately, I think it would make a pretty dull collection Fred.

Hello! First thread here, everyone here seems like nice chaps and ladies. I love a shitey car so it's right up my street. Got a friend at work who was going to scrap this but I convinced her to keep it on her drive for another week and give me a chance to give it a good home before it's weighed in Not got any pictures but it's essentially exactly the same as this, this or this. Reg is WG52 KUK Had some patches for the last MOT (as you can see from the MOT history), MOT tester said it's a bit corroded underneath and that's all she knows. Current MOT has one advisory for rear inner sills. 107k or so. 5 speed manual. Has a roof rack too which she can't seem to get off so it'll come with that. She has driven it to work every day for a few years, never let her down, typical jap having a reliable engine but being made of cheese in places. Drives fine, probably has some sort of nice interior. Who knows, i've only seen it in passing. Pics: If it's not sold by Friday/weekend it'll be weighed in It is what it is, it ain't what it ain't. I figure with 5 months MOT (expires Feb 1st) it'll do someone a turn. £200- Maybe a roffle if there is enough interest but I doubt it. Located in Chatham, Kent.

Change of circumstances means selling all but two of my cars. We are hoping to move house. The next car to go is the Rover 75. 2.5 V6. 107,000 miles with timing belts, water pump etc done at 95,000 ish. Documented. Also thermostat housing replaced last year. British Racing Green with tan (beige) leather interior. In beautiful condition with just the odd mark/scratch on the body. MOT expired in June but has been stored since last December unused. 2001 Connoisseur. Private Reg. G10 SAT. Not a for sale post as such, but any pointers on value? Stands me at £900 ish currently. Realistic? Will have a full MOT when up for sale!

This has been a very dependable tool in the past few weeks but I've managed to dibs something I wanted when it first came up for sale, then missed out on, so this has got to go to make room for it. The details: 191,750 miles on the clock, but it drives far better than you'd think. Will go up as current daily. Tidy inside, and now sporting fetching green mats from a certain fucked (and soon to be gone) Citroen. Great on fuel. I reckon you could do about 800 miles to a tank of motorway driving. Good stereo, OEM fit but it sounds brill. Brilliant heater and working air con. Everything seems to work.... Arm rests! Not so good -Rough body, no paint issues so to speak ( a dab of retouch) but a few dings and marks on the corners, including a missing chrome insert on drivers side front bumper. Steering wheel shows the mileage. Handbrake is rubbish! No service history, but knowing the previous owner, it will be a good 'un, it definitely drives like it's been treated well. No smoke!!! Previous MOT said it had an oil leak, dunno about that as it's not dripped any. Doesn't seem to make any odd noises. I took it 1000 miles a few weekends ago and it was flawless, no issues and nothing weird. Clutch is reasonable. No slip. Way better than the bang style clutch of the 156. Tyres are alright, not new but reasonable as well. I only have the one photo as it being parked outside covers it in tree sap and bird poo, whoever buys it will be treated to it being cleaned. As seen at the 'Small Glen' near Aberfeldy. But in reality, it's in Basingstoke. Delivery may be possible if it fits my plans. Available from next week, roughly Wednesday or so onwards. It does have a tow ball.

Not mine but a work mate. Owned for 9 years by his wife but it does a few hundred miles a year between MOT's due to him getting a brand new Honda every few months through work. Not seen it myself other than the pics but I've been told the bodywork looks better in the pics but still no major rot/dents from what I can gather. He seems to think it may have been crashed prior to his ownership but that's near enough ten years ago now and ten MOT's so I suspect nothing serious. Nice cheap clean low mileage car for someone, the 1.4pez is an alright lump as well from memory. The reg should be in the pics for MOT history. Price is slightly negotiable from what I can gather. Would have been on my own radar had it not been for two pieces of my own shite that need attention to sell then my Vito that needs bodywork so it would be just another car that never gets sorted, which would be a shame with the miles/condition/MOT. Will get pics up later as I've had a criminal 12hr shift in work reteaching a robot that's apparently going to replace us all as they never* break. This one's got more play in it than a 1950's Land Rover steering wheel. And despite all my efforts still doesn't do the job a human can in half the time. Progress?

R reg MX5 JDM 1800 6 speed . 95k miles, some service history. Reg shown so the cognoscenti of such chod amongst you good people can look up MOT details. Usual blebs on wheel arches, sills seem sound. Driver's side seat bolster worn, hood seems weather tight, and has no rips. [no hard top]New battery fitted recently Drives well, I'm near Maidstone in Kent. 950 to a 'shiter, will take something in p/x or swop ......... To show it'd epic reliability, I started it up yesterday evening, as it hasn't been used for a bit..........9 hours later, after I'd forgotten to switch it off, it was still ticking over...........

Born in 2002. It was running sweetly on one cylinder then the previous owner was doing something (removing the carburettors?) which needed the exhaust removed so someone snapped all the 4 exhaust studs, they then started to drill out the studs and realised it was a crap idea with the engine still on the bike so left it alone in a nice dry garage for a while. The head needs to be removed and Mr. Exhauststud Remover can then mill the broken stud bits out. I'll need to go check what is in the cardboard box of bits which it came with to see if there's any new bits as well. A second hand head is in the £100 to £200 range, a new one about £600. It needs another header pipe which are about £120 second hand.

It's time to let it go, been a faithful companion. It's on 278k now, 2.0 hdi diesel. Just had a cambelt, recent starter motor, mot until April. It drives absolutely fine, doesn't burn oil or jump out of gear. It's a standard estate inside with a removable steel load deck where back seats were. Faint wiff of diesel inside as I spilt some, cleaned it many times and it's definitely fading. Bodywork is in really good condition, no lawyer peel or dents. Comes up lovely with a wash. Front bumper has some splits that have been cable tied but other than that it's very tidy inside and out. Good tyres and a massive history file. Would like 400 for it, and it's in Coventry. I've got a set of 4 good Michelin? winter tyres on Subaru Legacy wheels kicking around from a car we scrapped last year. Is anyone interested before I have to run the gauntlet of Ebay? Might even still have a 5th one, not on the rim; this still has the unused spare tyre on it. PM me and I can take pictures if interested. Cheers.

This UK registered thing has been lurking in a dry place near by for several years. It will be up for disposal soonish, note that as of 07/06/2019 it will 40 years young so eligible for a taxless and motless life. It will be running and working as much as they normally do and being of modern design does not run premix and, as usual it will be difficult for the uninitiated to kick-start or even to find the kick-start. It has the original dealer sticker on front mud guard and was sold by the father of the bloke on the right in the website link. The seat lock is missing (as usual), the tank knee grips have disintegrated (as normal), the cover for the points has lost a screw (as normal) the rims are aluminium and there's a TLS brake on the front. As it is located in/under/behind a carefully packed dry shed which has been undisturbed for a while it may take a while to extract. Any offers of cash (and especially AX 1.5 diesels) will be considered, but you'll be able to inspect before hand when it is possible. http://www.normandymotorcycles.co.uk/

BMW 1-Series 120d SE - 2004 The Bad: Intermittent turbo fault ABS control unit needs replaced Short MOT - late November time. The Good: Mileage is only around 110k so pretty low for a diesel Fair amount of service and maintenance history Tyres, bodywork etc are really rather good It was a great running car for the last owner - they kept it nearly 10 years - but they've just brought a new car instead as have no interest in fixing it. That said, it still starts and drives fine. They suggested £800 as a rough figure, and I am just listing it for them, its very much open to offers. Location: Inverness Will add photos tomorrow hopefully, if there's any interest on here? £800?

My beloved Saab 9-3 OG 2000 2.0t has come to an end. After getting though his MOT and having the advisories taken care of (front suspension ball joints) there was found a monster lurking. Having new shiny lower suspension arms on the front it turns out that the loads on the suspension forced an issue hitherto unnoticed; a crack in the body where the steering rack attaches. This is either engine out and tricky welding or breaking for parts, and I offer Sven the Saab (my 4y/o daughter named him) for sale thus. With a tear in my eye I have to say bye-bye. Please get in touch if you are interested. Cheers

My midweek landlord, bought this last year after I emailed him A link from the eBay thread. I have asked him to send me more information and I took a few photos earlier in the year. It's silver It's a s reg. There's no rust *** It's had some suspension bits replaced. It has an mot until match iirc It have a cloth beige interior iirc It's a v6. 2.9 ?? Petrol More than 100k less than 200k It's wafty in all ways. In his ownership it's hardly gone very far. It's been the family's spare car. Girlfriend had driven it long journeys when her daily broke and his uncle takes the dog out to the country in it. And daughter uses it when she needs a big boot I think £600. Or 550 with no battery or tyres. (Joking) 550 to a shitter. I will get more information and photos.

Ex- Wuv, ex-Bramz turbo diesel 205 I've not had it long, but since having it I've fitted a new front wishbone (yes another) a drop link, and a CV boot. This means it clonks less going over bumps now. If I was keeping it I would change the tyres (mis-matched budgets, all legal) and sort out the wiring for the horn and rear de-mist, but that's about it. It's definitely a 10 footer, it looks gr9 from a distance, but less good close up. It's basically the same as it was when Wuv had it apart from the new front suspension bits: http://autoshite.com/topic/32849-peugeot-205-sceptre-td-£750-a-ticket-norfolk It still starts first time, goes well, it's just not me. With the recent purchase of the e36 my quota for red diesel cars has been filled, plus I have the Clio for the small French category. Price £500 Location - near Bourne Lincs MOT - June 2019 Pics .. Bit of a heavy heart this. I've worked on this for the last two years however it looks like i will be moving to Bahrain early next year for at least six months, leaving me with need to use the garage for storing my daily driver. Build thread: http://autoshite.com/topic/29219-lupo-20v-turbo-sounds-like-a-good-idea/ Frustratingly close to completion too, but i really could do with the space. I have been in talks with a few of you who did comment on the build thread that might be interested but xmas is not always the best time of the year for things like this. So here goes. I have to price it properly too, which give or take is relative to the amount of work i like to feel and the price they can go for completed (£2k-£2.5k). It is not perfect and still requires some work to finish but the work is listed below in massive detail. Work that is left to finish: * Fit slimline fan and wire into fan switch on radiator (three wires) * Fit clutch switch (supplied) and wire one wire to the ECU (wire pinned and supplied) * Needs a cat to pass MOT - currently has decat on with clamps. MGF will fit if you cut flanges off. * Lambda currently blanked. Needs obtaining and plugging in. * One wire alternator to rev counter. * One wire speed sensor to speedo. * Brake will need an upgrade as the standard 1.0 disks / drums are still on. * Passenger seatbelt * No headlining * Paint around boot VW badge is crap * Someone has scraped the passenger door and blown it over, doesnt look great. I would replace. * Accelerator pedal is mounted a bit high, needs unbolting, heating up, bending down a bit. * Front mount could with with painting black, bit of position fettling and maybe some mesh to hide it (or paint it black) Comes with another set of alloys and tyres Colour matched paint can Box full of coolant and air hoses Various sensors Spare clutch stuff, slave cylinder etc Full V5 Some previous history A few keys All paperwork from the conversion, receipts etc Spec: 1.0 base Lupo still registered as 1.0, think it has about 71k on it - some history but pretty irrelevant 1.8 20vt AUQ from Octavia had done 90k 180bhp standard k03s with correctly adjusted wastegate Boost upped to 16psi on ECU, full remap done Immobiliser removed Overrun added (slight) Generic FMIC setup with custom MAP sensor mount, mostly 2.5" hoses New MAF / crank / cam sensor etc Secondary air system fully removed, blanks fitted, ECU reprogrammed, new correct vac hose runs Second Lambda removed and ECU reprogrammed Charcoal / N249 valve removed and ECU reporgrammed All wiring tidy and completed with ECU relay, unused sensor wiring removed. All wiring diagrams from build retained. New coolant copper seals New sump plug and seal New dipstick holder New oil pump New timing belt New oil strainer All filters done Sump gasket done Rocker gasket done Octavia gearstick and selectors Octavia accelerator pedal on Lupo TDI hydraulic pedal box New carpet Rear half stripped out with trim and seats included for later Custom stainless downpipe New clutch Single Mass Flywheel Mk4 Golf PS Pump Chassis notched to fit engine and box K+N cone Cut / welded pass driveshaft on Lupo outer CVs and Mk2 Golf GTi inner CVs Standard lupo drivers driveshaft with 9mm spacer at hub side and Mk2 Golf GTi inners 110mm Gearbox cups 5 Spd O2A box from Octavia VRS Stubby oil filter 2.5" downpipe to 2.5" decat to 2" cherry bomb that was on it when i bought it, a bit too loud tbh Silicone vac hoses Boost gauge / volt gauge up and running, oil pressure gauge and sender present but not plumbed in Dont get me wrong its not perfect. I'm not a professional but ive taken my time to do my best with everything on it. It would probably only need the Lambda and Cat to pass a test, but to be clear im selling it as a project. Its not been 100% road tested but it starts first time, idles to temp (gauge works) and sits there fine. Overfuelling obviously from the lack of Lambda etc. Would need towing / trailering. To reiterate Car is running, driving, all interior back in and in good nick £1500 is the price I'm after as near as dammit really. It is not listed anywhere else, no scene tax etc, time will tell if i need to but im not looking forward to 15 lads turning up in mk3 Golfs to rev the arse off it. I'm not a young lad and this is'nt the reason i built it. Power wise i cant comment as it has not been on the rollers but should be around the 200bhp mark. Due to needing the space i cant really see swaps happening unless someone pulls a blinder out and it can sit outside for 6-12 months. Thanks

Thought I'd test the waters to see if anyone's interested in this. I bought it off facebook marketplace, it was absolutely bollocksed when I picked it up, it's now quite a bit less bollocksed but I just don't like it very much. Good points: -Can be supplied with a remap to 170bhp from the stock 136bhp, goes like a greased weasel. -Quite high spec, has fancy stuff like heated auto folding mirrors and cruise control. Some of these features actually still work. -Just been serviced. -EGR/DPF have been properly dealt with, not a problem for MOT purposes. -Pretty good on fuel, the trip computer says 42mpg average, but that's including plenty of short trips and being sat in traffic. It's got a really tall 6th gear so on a motorway run you'll be in the high 40s. -A/C and climate control works well -I've spent more time/money than I should've getting it sorted out. It's had: -Front coil spring and top mount bearing -Front anti-roll bar bushes and drop links -Rear axle bushes -Rear shock absorbers -Front discs and pads -Front brake hose, brake fluid flushed through/changed -Handbrake cable -New replacement front grille -New windscreen washer pump And probably some other stuff that I can't think of right now. MOT 'til March-ish next year. Bad points: -Currently has an antipollution system warning up on the dash, I think this is something to do with an air temperature sensor - I changed the one in the manifold a while ago, have just changed the MAF and wiped the fault codes so hopefully it's sorted, but assume the fault's there for now. It drives fine even with the fault codes, but I'll update in a few weeks. -Some of the toys don't work or are erratic - the CD changer for example is disconnected because it's cacked. Auto wipers and headlights don't seem to do anything either. -Some alloys a bit scabby -Has a rattle from somewhere, sounds like a heatshield - will try to take a look at it this weekend. -Slight wheel wobble at motorway speeds - I don't think it's balancing. I'm using the car for a 400-mile round trip every week and it doesn't bother me too much. Also seems to pull slightly to the left, I've had it tracked and it's better now but is still there. -Possible timing belt kit needed. There's a receipt somewhere for a belt at around 95k IIRC, the interval on these is 100K but one of the tensioners sounds like it could be noisy - not too sure. If I wanted to keep it I'd stick a belt kit on it. If anyone's interested, I'm in Bradford during the week and Reading at the weekends. I'm using it to go back and forth every week, so if you're anywhere in between I could stop off for your perusal. I might be interested in a swap for something wafty but I've just come into the possession of a mildly borked pisshat so a sale would be ideal. It's not a bad car really but I just don't like it, should give reasonable service for someone I'd hope. Not too sure on price, I think it's fair and it's definitely less than it owes me but I'm open to discussion. If anyone wants to swap for a Jaaaaag XJ6/XJ8 that'd be grand. Not a clue why the pictures have been turned upside down - sorry!

My Dad has his 2001 Ford Fiesta MK5 1.25 LX manual which he thinking of selling as he just doesn't use it or have the time too. Mot'd it a few weeks back [ So 11 mths Mot ] after it had been parked up for the last few years unused and passed with just a advisory for the brake pipes. Currently on Sorn but Insured. Car has done a genuine almost 51,000 on the clock ex jersey hire car and I think 3 owners inc my Dad since new. Has had some paintwork due to previous owners bad parking etc but nothing major. Does need a cambelt an oil change due to standing the last few years but run's and drives great. Did replace the heater valve with a used one recently as it packed up *common fault* so heaters are working fine. Has standard Alloys, Heated Front Windscreen great for winter! Leccy Front Windows, Central Locking via key. We also fitted a Ford CD player as the original cassette packed in. An has Power steering. A/C fitted but not sure if its working as didn't seam that cold but there again it's never been regassed since new but was working fine before my Dad stopped using it. It's not a minter but it's a tidy car for the age and I think with a decent service it provide someone with some cheap motoring. My Dads looking for £500 firm. Located at his home in Measham just off Jct 11 M42. I having to post this ad via my phone due to laptop fail so had to retake pictures today so sorry if they aren't top quality. Any questions just ask away and I'll do my best to answer them or if you want to come view PM me.
