  1. An early one? Paging @eddyramrod, obvs https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/386879159446?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=iiahamwqsac&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  2. Humber but with 2.3 Ford diesel and Rolls radiator. There’s a lot of conflict here, but I think the car lost 🙁 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176336575992?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=NYO75BuwR0i&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  3. @Kiltox should definitely rebody the Ami into one of these. He’d make a fortune! https://www.facebook.com/share/Qmu6wEdrpfSnJvkU/?mibextid=79PoIi
  4. Like so much of the modern world, it wants the benefits with none of the downsides but always loses something in the transformation.
  5. If ChatGPT can write an advert in the style of Warren, it may be the best thing on the internet since LOLcats
  6. Fantastic work! I’d agree with egg’s suggestion of a new tank, it sounds like the early simpler one was superseded and they wouldn’t have spent all that money unless they had to. Worth checking eBay or facebook groups to see if second hand ones exist. If you want to persevere with the original one, pressure test it before cleaning it up. It would be shit to spend hours on it only to find pinholes everywhere.
  7. It’s just nice to see one with its original style number plate rather than the modern silver and black bollocks.
  8. What the actual fuck is going on with this one?😳
  9. Mildly fucked but solid and original Golf. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315182778689?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fgvzu1ojtnu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  10. Phoarr, you’d never sleep alone again. Whether you’d want to sleep with the kind of person who owned this, is another matter. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266690391549?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=dNDDqp0oQxS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  11. Grim. But ok if you really like the smell of back to black. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314931845615?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=nE1CQgXAT-6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  13. Coupe Beirut taxi. Says it’s never been welded, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t needed it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196263335036?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pE9RYTNbSvu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  17. Live out your “people’s princess” fantasy without all that tedious mucking about of getting murdered by your estranged family. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276346621501?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=707ca0E0Rpi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  18. I think these diesels go a bit, especially when you turn up the wick. Obviously the wheels can FRO https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266661209653?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rFtgDSygS7a&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  19. It’s 3 grand for something that makes less power than my strimmer, but it’s a really pure design. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266403432318?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rFtgDSygS7a&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y9xs1hiVQ9O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  21. That’s right, I had a 1978 95 with column change and a handbrake straight out of a railway signal box.
  22. My Tatra 603 had it, they were made up to 1974.
  23. Mk3 Cortina could probably squeeze through on a technicality.
  24. Agreed. I used to work with a bloke who was there years ago and they 3D scan the interior to make sure it fits.
  25. The z bar helped handling a lot but it was used in conjunction with softer rear torsion bars. It’s the softer torsion bars that make the rear grip better, the z bar acts as an assister spring (like you could get for cars in the 70s when you tow a caravan) and also, as Asimo said it works to induce rear roll. You know how a front antiroll bar increases roll stiffness and gives understeer (reduces front grip), well this does the opposite and gives more grip to the axle it’s fitted to. The pressing for the z bar was always on the inner wing, but it was only fitted to 1500s and some 1300s which had the torsion bars to match.
