  2. The Doctors back with another one of his finds, I wonder how long until people are having another row over it.

Maybe if people didn't keep posting his fucking cars in the eBay Tat thread, there wouldn't be any arguing.:roll:

  3. POA

No, I don't want to waste 10p phoning you just to find out how overpriced your 1.6 Vectra is.

Just put the price in the ad like normal folk do, you fuckwit.

I fact I'm going to use your number to advertise "Lead flashing and copper pipes. Free to take away" on Gumtree.

  4. I read he said put in for IVA test, Shirley SVA then I read about the exposed pins on the charge lead then it made sense, being sued to trampdom for killing someone could well end in a Individual Voluntary Arrangement ie one step less than bankruptcy!

I was about to ask what the fuck a battery powered Noddy car had to do with my wife's fallopian tubes, but then I remembered I was thinking of IVF, not an SVA

Misery spec 309 "Style" for 500 Eurons.

Some more Pug-squalor in the form of a 205 Junior.

I had an identical 205 - the only part of the ownership experience that sticks out in my mind was the whole handbrake coming away in my hand as i tried to park on an impossibly steep hill. :x

Shit! A 205 van for €750! Me want!

Nice 1.9gti - seller is a fuckwit however.

I am selling because I don't have time to check on it in dry storage anymore, let alone drive it. It is the perfect car for any collector or enthusiast. Don't bother texting with silly offers as the car is costing me nothing to keep.

Get the fuck out of here you arsehole. All the cliches are there: only driven on dry days/dry stored/no rush to sell/"completly" original/no mention of tax or test, so it doesn't have either. And the best bit? The price: kicking on 5 fuckin grand!:roll:

  5. I recently rediscovered this fantastic picture on my computer, but foolishly hadn't saved the link to the news article.

    DrunkDriverHorseCarriage.jpg

    Tineye is your friend.

    It happened in Poland.

A drunken lumberjack faces losing his licence after crashing a van with two horses in the back.

Leszek Stepien, 55, was using one of the animals to put his Mercedes back on its wheels when police came across him.

Things started to go wrong for the Pole when he decide to open a bottle of vodka at the end of his working day.

He then decided to load the horses - a stallion and a mare - in the back of his son's van to take them home.

As he drove near the town of Skwierzyna, east of Poznan, the stallion got loose and decided to mount the mare.

But she had other ideas and in the confusion, drunken Stepien collided with roadside barriers and tipped the van.

Amazingly, he escaped injury and the horses suffered nothing more serious than shock.

The lumberjack hitched the stallion to the front axle and was trying to right the vehicle when firefighters came across the scene.

Fire chief Michal Kowalewski said: 'I've never seen anything like it.'

'Luckily the horses were not injured but the owner is facing charges including animal cruelty and drink driving,' said one officer, who revealed that Stepien had drunk enough to put him over twice the legal drink-driving limit.

  6. Thus I shall suggest what everyone else was thinking but was scared of saying: get a Zafira, the 1.6 16V petrol ones seem best. Hold their values well, better screwed together than the Ford/VW?Seat offering and have superb residuals, even the old ones

The Zafira's not a bad shout.

    Thing to note:

The older Zafiras have three proper seatbelts in the "middle" row, but from '02 or '03 on the middle seatbelt was a lap belt. Handy to know if you're fitting kiddy seats, but probably not applicable in the OP's case as 750 quid wouldn't buy you one of the newer Zafiras anyway.:lol:

  7. [Pedant mode] Thats a 6 seater [/Pedant mode]

    2 adult + 4 children = how many?

750 quid Espaces/Galaxys/Sharans are generally fucked beyond belief. Ask me how I know.

Multiplas in the same price range are generally not as fucked.

If she can stretch to a grand, she might get a 307sw. Which is the best 7-seater evar. And women like driving them cos they're not the size of a bus.

  8. Caning down the motorway at 100.

    Get tailgated. Check in mirror.

    Toyota Prius.

Take it up to 120. You should lose a Prius at that speed.

Probably some nugget who's forced to use one as a company car while his Insignia's in the garage..

Or some breast-feeding earth-mother late for a colonic irrigation. <- see how many stereotypes you can get in...

I would rather watch John Prescott wipe his arse on my favourite shirt than let a pious into traffic.

I keep that for BMW owners.

  9. For €1400 I would expect roads surfaced with vellum with gold foil blocked line markings. Is the price of fuel the same as over here?

I'd expect a fucking blowjob after standing in a queue at the tax office for half an hour for that kind of money, but hey ho - the government's gonna tax its way back into the black.

Unleaded was €1.679 when I filled the wife's car this morning. It takes €90-100 worth usually. Diesel's a bit cheaper at €1.589..
