  1. In a previous century I worked for some French company which involved driving/operating mobile laboratories so I availed myself of an moped (Mobylette) found in a Belgium skip and tied it in the little gap between the 3 phase generator and laboratory. Being constrained by drivers hours I could stop almost anywhere (this being the continent and not UK) and pop off into the countryside for a beer, frits n mayo and spot of fishing in whatever local lake/river was available - foreigner on old Mobylette being welcomed like a long lost friend in most of rural France/Belgium It sort of becomes addictive so much later I'm still doing similar things. Said Mobylette is that green thing.
  2. Has he photos taken during it's construction? I've a load of heavy fire bricks for the base of of mine (version 2.0) which should get very hot and "regulate" the temperature and many spares if anyone what some for their own constructions.
  3. I want this but for an reason I can't have it so I'll park it here (metaphorically). 4. No. That's a sequential "hand" gearchange in parallel with the non-sequential toe/heel gearchange. Reverse in gearbox so not obvious from outside and fitted for 2 wheel drive (sidecar) setup though seems a more random allocation took place.
  5. I've had a few Urals and used to sell parts. Need a technique to operate kickstart. Does yours have reverse gear? There's nice mod to fit SU carb. Loads after newish ones available in Bishkek when I was there last.

  7. Charles F Taylor's car (or his other car)
  8. Commuting along an motorway to work and back being overtaken by artics where I could have driven underneath one without taking the floppy top down was "interesting".
  9. Many T60 and B90 and T100 engined ones, your pic is a B95 or B105.
  10. But there's a yellow B90 with modded bonnet scoop behind the green one.
  11. Drove them along with Santanas at work in Burgos ES
