I hate to tell you this,but that bearing needs to be replaced,they shouldn't separate like that.

Picked this up today. Looks a bit uninspiring in the package. Doesn't look much better out of it either. However,when you remove that grey plastic shit it comes adorned with... Its actually a nicely detailed model,of a casting I don't have. Plastic shit will go in the bin.

I'm afraid it's driving days are over.....😵

I fitted this1.8 turbodiesel and matching 5 speed gearbox into my FE. Went surprisingly well,although was slow enough of the mark,but combined with the FE's higher ratio automatic rear axle it could happily cruise along without feeling strained,it once showed 90+(on a private track Cough cough )there was more there,but the old FE wasn't able 🤣

That's an old casting. I've had these two quite a while.

German cars are overrated and not very reliable.

I'm inclined to agree,tat Friday was great,but like all good things.... I think everyone who contributes to this thread has at least one item from there! 🤣
