I've always wondered how they made Peugeot 206s. Turns out that bored-looking Midlanders make them out of Kia Carenses. Who knew?

And I'm back. No breakdown services required.
The previous owner had a silver one before that the cambelt went on. All the bolt on panels were swapped over from that as she preferred silver, the only bits that have been painted are the sides/rear quarters where it was damaged when she got it, from a jackknife caravan incident.
Will probably do the roof to match although its not my top priority.
Now sleep.

Ahh, Bridgewater Services. Parking spaces almost big enough for a real car!

Tired of seeing Metros with no engine? How about a Metro with two engines to address the balance.

As he hasn't responded to this thread in 2 hours this most likely means he's either lost in the middle of nowhere, has no wifi, has no mobile data signal or a combination of all 3. Definitely in Devon. He'll also be getting very very wet.

Hi all, am still alive, thanks for your concern.
Final destination was here.
Which means we have a winner!
Hertz wins 1 internet detective badge, its the 2 tone fabia.
No pics of it as its dark and pissing down, the ebay pictures will have to do for now.
Hope the car doesn't fill everyone with too much disappoint.
Am filling my face at bridgewater services then off back to the lovely north with an eta of about 10pm.

I want this to turn into some kind of Treasure Hunt style affair with pins in a map at the Autoshite Control Room, and dink yelling "have you seen a clue?" at confused members of the public as he leaps off a train

With it being Wednesday Eve I thought this deserved an update.
This E34 was properly nice
This early primer covered Clio less so, but probably much rarer Too shite for Autoshite Black Placca bumpered 306! Corolla in actually noticed SHOCK One for the MK3 Transit fetishists Another unmolested Golf MK2 Espace was a bit exciting as I hadn't seen one for yonks R was mega tidy
Now for a mini report from the Retroshite Falkirk meet, which wasn't a bad wee afternoon out bar the cold. Unfortunately I spent quite al ot of time gassing and missed quite a few interesting cars, including a brilliant Cortina estate.
SOZ.
I liked this Lupo. Does that make me a bad person? The chap who had it got locked out of it though and spent quite a while scrabbling about with a bit wire trying to get back in.
The Scotoshite contingent
Pink brake drums. Classy*
Two Cecil & Larter Volvos meet! What are the odds? 240 estate was lovely too. 200, 700, 900 and V-Hundered That's it really, it ends mainly visually... -

This will surely end up making considerably more than the starting bid but it's rather nice anyways, looks quite tidy considering it's been in a barn for 23 years.

Hey nice one M'coli, i didn't even know the guy's name but that picture has had a lot of mileage on here, to the extent that it seems a bit like 'part of the furniture'. RIP horse train artist guy, and thanks very much for the picture!

Those strange Americans. It's some bastard offspring of a Mk1 and Mk2 Focus with a really bland interior and enormous bumpers plus the wheel's on the wrong side. I can't think of a reason why you would but it already has a bid.

£995 not a lot considering the kit you get, plus it probably won't break down and no-one will know what it is.

First batch of calendars are here!
I've spent literally all afternoon trying to sort a video preview and totally spannered it up, so massive hats off to my kids for knocking this up, mostly an impatient teenage daughter!
The first 50 on the list will be messaged over the next day or so. PLEASE do NOT message me about anything else (unless you want to buy a car or bike off me of course!) as my message box will be chockablock and I haven't much time as it is.
All instructions will be on th message I send you, please read carefully and then reply, cheers.
*When your calendar has arrived just reply on this tjread please so I know you got it ok, and if you don't receive a message in the next couple of days, don't panic as you will get one as/when.
Cheers!

I'll deliver it for fifty quid. However, if I get pulled by the rozzers I'll bung it into the Armco and leg it across the fields like I'm on Police Interceptors.
