  1. If I was staying in the country I would bite your hand off! Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
  2. I would love to, thanks, but I'm leaving the country in a couple months, and have no tools. If I'm coming back I'll get in touch. Isn't Phil form the forum living somewhere up near Auckland too? Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
  3. I've seen a few 205s in NZ, but only one GTi!
  4. Sorry I missed you Jon! I was doing an internship at Roebuck Farm just outside Omata for 3 months, hence sheep and Tomato Plants! I saw a black 205 GTi on the 14th Feb coming down the hill at Pukerua Bay, late morning, and thought of you. I should have been in touch!
  5. Wow! Forgot Joloke was a thing... Welcome back, Oh rare female member 😇
  6. Thanks sierraman, I have plenty of storage here already Thank you Laquer Peel, all set to go now!
  7. Hi All! I know I have been a bit sparse on the forum recently, but there is an update on the way. Long story short, I am travelling abroad for an uncertain length of time - more than 1 year, but not sure how long. Me and brother KruJoe have been running the cars on veg for a while, have I developed an effective and efficient filtering system. I want to leave a good stockpile of veg here for Joe to use, and maybe a little extra for members of the forum if and when they need it. Unfortunately I am finding it harder and harder to get a good supply of oil from anywhere, I have tried regular suppliers and eBay but have come up short. It is now 20 days till I leave. I am looking for between 1000 litres and 2000 litres, preferably in the next 2 weeks, anywhere in the North of England, but closer to Skipton (BD23) the better. Can travel, have containers. Willing to pay up to 30p/litre depending on quality and solids content. Any contacts/pointers/ideas would be much appreciated, PM me if appropriate. Thank you in advance! Will
  8. Apologies in advance, I think I may have won. Has ANYONE seen one of these before? It is a Chatenet Barooder WX. WHOOO Apologies for the picture quality, it was taken from the back seat of a Discovery with a dirty windscreen at 30mph after a beer, in Innsbruck!! Best of all, check out how sparse the Wiki page is! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automobiles_Chatenet Running on an Austrian Moped number plate/license for extra win!
  9. Thank god for Bauer media, keeping the web page rather than just deleting it! ðŸ˜
  10. 4 or 5 metres of fresh 8mm I/D fuel pipe from the tank, and half a dozen jubiles is a lot cheaper than mixing with derv. As LP said, mixing with pez is more effective anyway. Overrun, we shall speak when we meet 😊
  11. I dislike MOTs. But if you buy a car of the right era they are not unreasonable in their requirements. The more modern a car is (and thus the more stringent and unreasonable the MOT rules become) the more willingness there will be to let 'small' issues that are subject to seemingly unreasonably strict MOT rules pass the test. Best just to keep the MOT simple and based solely on safety, then there is less likelihood that cheating becomes morally acceptable and more respect for the MOT system as a whole.
  12. Good work, but isn't the necessity for a fridge and the fact you will be doing one night stops mutually exclusive?
  13. I am not sure if I have hubs left, they tend to get snaffled quite quickly, or the bottom wishbone mount rounds out. Regarding rear beams, I meant to have a look today but totally forgot. I am going to Austria for a week but text me and I can have a look for you! 07874 two three two 837
