Yeah nice looking cars those Farina estates. Strange you should mention Cortinas and Farinas (that rhymes). I was just looking at this scanned picture and talking to my Dad about his cars. His mk2 Cortina, mk2 Escort 1600 and Beetle left him stranded but the Oxford always got him home. I wonder where I caught the bug from? Actually both sides to be fair. BTW that's a Austin A55 mk2 with a Oxford 5 Series grille if anyone noticed/cared. I really do need to make my own thread on here.

That brings back memories, I had that as a kid (I think it was my Brothers) it had removable fins. We had the yellow Beetle convert that you could flip over to be a ghouly ghosty lizard thing. I'm sure I still have the engine somewhere. The VW is probably worth a fortune now.

This looks like a bit of a deal at £4,250 Ah... But still might get away with at home rebuild. Then you will find 1/2" of filler here and there. Looks like the front screen is cracked too. But still if it was a 55 Chevy the price would be through the roof. Also that is if the listing isn't a scam.

This thread has jogged a memory of a Bradshaws electric pick up I saw years ago. I'd never heard of those before, it looked like a Grumman van only smaller and with a pick up bed. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Also The Flying Scotsman went by the bottom of the Garden when I was messing about with toys so that was nice to see, hear and smell. Edit Wow they are low resolution. Edit 2 they may be slightly better now.
