  1. Upside down car of the day 1992 Saab 900 2.0iS 16V Aero 3dr HATCHBACK Petrol Manual | eBay
  2. That looks a lot like when I got a midge bite on my penis.
  3. That's pretty much what all Chinese trucks are in fairness. Their big trucks are typically rip offs of Volvo/MAN, but I believe some actually use their old can designs under licence.
  4. Pacific Car and Rail Foundry I think. One of the prime contractors for making tanks in WW2, along with other US locomotive suppliers. Also made these. I visited the Leyland factory ten or so years ago. They make all DAF RHD products and all LFs and all CF65s. Most of the parts are imported but the Cummins B series engines in those models are sourced from Darlington and their axles are from AAC who operate from the old Albion factory in Glasgow. Their bigger trucks all use DAF parts from the Benelux.
  5. These tended to have ludicrous engines - MB V10/12
  6. They see me mowing, they hate it https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/auction/lot/lot-170---wolfgarten-scooter-mower/?lot=15891&so=0&st=&sto=0&au=46&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=0&pp=96&pn=2&g=1
  7. Does anybody have a summary calendar of the classic auctions on this summer/year?
  8. NZ is interesting - Japanese trucks are sold alongside familiar European models in strange configurations. Some North American stuff too but it's usually stuff for the international market like the International 9800, very few long nose tractors
  9. Reflectoporn of the day https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225651988736?hash=item3489e81900:g:JCgAAOSwnG1kifqx
  10. L reg Impreza, 29,000 miles. Looks like the generic giffer cruiser. Price seems realistic. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195860186029?hash=item2d9a2d43ad:g:cEQAAOSwXBNkdfxx&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4PSXGq0t4Y01UH40Y92ob2psVHsVXjE8FDNBjGIJntxQFxaMl%2F3VZiIJqV3NnvSUanZtzSKbfLz%2B9U6QUfWYXNc3PBMVPJIzuPq8dgGkHrvFMqkxaNZsDuHFdrtVYZA054cfQB7k%2Bk1lZFBThilmRI7c9CN4rHgSCu2FKylcV%2BINq5pXZKcBxdPsmvmeeOq8IaqX1yidyRBMOTLuD98HAm%2BZy4RP%2FN0Me6ku7Y9ACM3G68KGVJmOCRw5aP%2BdaUgMRAcNDFo3ihCTLWtvdBzwVze9hF4ILmxmI6oZ6bwhTwoq|tkp%3ABk9SR5CH--2mYg Says '12 months MOT' but I believe the seller actually means this was 13 months ago.
  11. Wonder if the Ka will continue, it's basically a 'free car' for them now as they just stole the F500 platform and churn them out for peanuts in Poland. Puma is also a cheaply made car from Romania and confession time I actually quite liked driving it when I had one as a hire car. I can see why any family car like the Mondeo or Smack has gone now as the standard family car is now just an SUV. Sad times.
  12. Just read the Focus is going too in two years, and the Galaxy, Smack and Mondeo have already gone. So what's actually left?! The company says it wants to focus (but not Ford Focus) on EVs but its first - the Mustang thing - has been a wacky giant crossover disaster. Bizarre.
  13. Also, what a great name for a car. Implies fun etc, works in all languages. Doesn't requires the brand to be stated. See also Golf and Polo for great names which will seemingly last forever.
  14. Are NOx emissions for the Euro standards limited by absolute exhaust emissions, or as a % of that vehicle's tailpipe? Worked examples: If the former, a smaller car can have a dirtier engine as it's a solute emissions are lower, whereas a large vehicle has to have a very clean engine as its absolute emissions are so high - it will naturally produc more NOx. If the latter, then all vehicles must have equally clean engines but the absolute emissions of NOx for larger vehicles will be greater than those of smaller. I'm guessing the former? Which may explain why typically only larger vehicles use SCR systems.
  15. Well Labour Party leader man said today he can't decide if he supports the ULEZ extension or not so I guess there's hope that it'll be abandoned at the last minute.
  16. Scotland just likes being different to create an illusion of independence. How about Germany's emissions sticker system. 1.9 TDI for example is a yellow sticker. I can't remember how it works though but I think a lot of city centres are GREEN zones and it's country-wide.
  17. I think the bi-fuel is that they also run on E85. Also, fun fact: the 'B' in LGBT stands for 'bi' implying relation to 'two', however with all this pronouns stuff we are are told there are more than two genders. Work that one out!!!
