  1. NAPA ones from TMS are cheap and good.
  2. Oh I jumped straight to engine management. Of course.
  3. ECU box? It's a mechanical diesel, no ECUs here. Good luck, don't overthink the job, there are a few steps but there are worse alternators to do.
  4. I have a relation of this car in my Lancia Delta, service parts are so cheap for it because the same parts were used in nearly every mid sized Fiat, Lancia and Alfa of the era.
  5. Great vans. I love my XUD Expert. The gear change on mine is ok as the previous owner went through everything to cure the third gear crunch bar replacing the gearbox.
  6. TMS sell NAPA branded wiper blades that are very cheap and alright. Bosch wiper blades are crap these days.
  7. Where would the ethanol come from? Ethanol viable in a country like Brazil because they have masses of land they can grow the crops on.
  8. It would be worth an experiment if new veg oil was very cheap or you get waste oil for free, otherwise no.
  9. Capitalism was perfected on Britain, you can blame these islands for Halloween pish
  10. Primera 2.0 D isn't the slowest vehicle I've had but that's such a dour plodding engine.
  11. It wasn't a funny bit, it was you trying to screw people over. FOAD etc.
  12. "entertainment", it got taken down and put back up. I don't even use Facebook, this is a small community and stuff gets shared.
  13. A DW8 one must be dismal. It goes pretty well with the XUD9TF and even better with the injection pump turned up a little. The gearing is something like 23MPH/1000rpm in this so pretty low geared and thirsty but it's veg, who cares.
  14. My sister's appliance and the vehicle of the future next to it. It is my favourite vehicle, you feel like you are floating on this boosty veg fuelled cloud, it has an XUD9TF engine with a Bosch pump. I turned up the fuel pump with @Supernaut's assistance, the gearing is quite short but it will do 80MPH uphill and keep accelerating, and keeps up with most traffic now. I put Maxxis all season van tyres on it and it feels very secure on the road now it's cold and wet. It's class.
  15. Iveco engines are the good bit of Ivecos no? (runs away)
  16. Worth £10k with £15k of parts right?
  17. I knew of someone who might have fought in the war who would refuse to get into a Mitsubishi car.
  18. For household waste in the Falkirk dumps you can get a free permit to use a van. Agree that a skip saves messing about if you have loads to shift.
