My Triumph Toledo hasn't been standard for years. TR7 engine, sought after OD gearbox, uprated rear axle, uprated suspension from and back, polybushed too.
MGF steel wheels, electric rad fan, alloy rad, tacho fitted, painted satin black therefore according to the purists it has the ownership appeal of a rancid butter pat.
    Bollocks to them.

Indeed. It took Ford another 10 years to match what Rover did with the K-Series. Don't let a bit of polymer plastic and lack of maintenance sour a good engine.

I drove 17 miles to pick up chompy. Then a further 70 miles north to look at a shed of a car he thankfully didnt buy to then drive back and end up picking this up less than 2 miles from my front door. Can only happen to us. ?

As a follow up I contacted the NZ college about my exam failure as the answer they had me marked down as incorrect was actually correct.
One email later they admitted their system was wrong and they amended my result to a pass.  Phew, at least I don’t have to resubmit and resit.

BBC I am not a rapist
The description says gripping and it certainly is
The story of 3 young men falsely accused of rape
Unbelievable that one took 2 years to come to court , in court his defence lawyer asked for evidence from her phone but the prosecution didn't have any because the police never passed it on
She got it and there were thousands of texts from her totally blowing her case out of the water
Another lad got released while they made further investigations despite no evidence  ,his sister said he was broken , completely changed ,  heard nothing for months so he rang them to be told she'd dropped the charges and no further action
He hung himself , he went to the shop , bought his favourite drink, bag of crisps and a rope then went into the woods , on the anniversary of his death his mum hung herself , only his sister was left
None of the cases were ever recorded as false allegations of rape
    Why don't they get charged

Pine Martens are the shit; they're grey squirrel kryptonite, so they can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.

I am grumpy today, and for a change it is not automotive related.
Most realise I live in a fairly* remote location, so there is plenty of wildlife around. Whilst back home in the middle of my work trips, I made a visit to my tyre changing shed where I discovered several large piles of animal crap. Strange, as that shed has, and has never had, any source of food in it. I could not identify what animal it was from, but my friend Pete, an ex wildlife ranger visited and I asked his opinion. He was not sure but took a sample away for identification.
A couple of days later I found a sample of the same crap in the middle of the top step from my rear patio.
A few days after that, I had word from Pete saying it was from one of these:

Yep, a Pine Marten. So far so good.
Two days ago, the damned thing decided my loft would make a nice place to play, and it announced its arrival by chewing on the woodwork at 3am. Last night was a repeat performance. Now, these animals are protected, their dens are protected and they are fairly rare. I am not allowed to shoot it trap it or even evict it and of course the authorities know it is here having identified the scat. As they are nocturnal, I have switched on the lights in my loft hoping it will dislike the light and move out.
To cap it all, some of the local deer population decided to eat my lawn last night and have ripped up large sections.
In summary I would still rather have wildlife than chav neighbours, but today I am not a wildlife fan.

    Ha.
Reminds me of a mutual friend of Mr Imp and myself, whom is notoriously messy being very chuffed with himself by managing to drain the oil out of his Navara without so much as a drip on the street.
He then tripped on the front garden step whilst carrying the open drain tray, and sloshed several litres all over the steps garden and footpath... ?

We've just had Chinese tea. While knobhead was dishing up I said to her "Wash them tubs out we'll keep them"
Fuck, I'm not even 40 yet.
