Off topic, but I used to work at a Heron filling station (would you like your windscreen cleaned and your oil checked). Gerald Ronson would turn up to inspect that everything was smartly painted and clean and to encourage us to sell more oil as that was more profitable than petrol. Ok you can carry on now

I think they had to improve because it was biting them in the bum, a cabby in Malta told me he had just had new doors because of rust while the car was still under warranty. -

Theory: Larger cars survive because you can look posh without spending much money; small cars survive because they are loved by elderly ladies and students: medium cars just get scrapped when a big bill happens whereas the others get seen as worth spending the money on because you never know what is going to fail on a replacement. Discuss. -
