  1. Condolences 😢
  2. Slight thread tangent, but Direct Line have gone down in my estimations last couple of years. Been with them for ages, but refused to insure our Mk1 Focus last renewal (too old) and wanted £650 for the 06 plate CRV. Tesco same cover for £275. T4 looks great, was tempted myself as always fancied one but overkill as dont need the interior space.
  3. Free Rover 75 with MOT Cornwall. Thread over on the R75 forum, but all details as below.
  4. I'd be most worried re the scratch marks on the hazard switch. Seems to have been used quite a lot Looks lovely though. Seats look really good.
  5. Another one of my one make forum finds, Over on UK Saabs - ULEZ scheme casualty 1999, 9-3 Convertible 2.0iS (Auto) Barnet £500. 77K Mot till October , roof rams not working, but believe they can be operated manually.
  6. Aware French, but surely @Pat Earrings Laguna ticks all the boxes.
  7. Just noticed this on Hot UK Deals. Not sure of brand details but £65 for a brand new 3000A starter pack with warranty seems a good deal. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09CZC48RT/ref=sw_img_1?smid=A11P4KWZ9939N0&th=1 Needs to use code 9KYH5W8S to get half price. (Mods: Did think of adding this to car boot sale but as not being sold by me...)
  8. Knew I'd seen that somewhere before. 32K - £750. Sunroof, Air Con Leather. Never looked in detail at the ad, but looks like a real bargain. One make Car Forums for the win.
  9. Plus headlights that fall out, amongst other things. Thank god purchased with a Network Q warranty a good few years back. Was booked in at least every month for something or other, Remember one of the seat belt buckles failed on the last day. Service manager even said he'd miss me .. Not
  10. Had exactly the same happen years ago on my Gallant. Luckily was a hot day and drivers window was open , so was able to lean out and come to a stop., 50mph on a straight road was also fortunate, but its amazing how fast the bonnet flips up... Just glad you (and car to a fashion) are both ok. Actually dented roof on mine as bonnet bent back at top of roof line. Not an experience I'd wish on anyone or like to go through again...
  11. I'm about 10 miles away, but thought I recognised the road. A mate of mine used to live about 50 yards away https://goo.gl/maps/XKB8RF8gXQwmPJgu8 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202305157407308
  12. Glad its passed. Hopefully not too much of a wallet haemorrhage.
  13. Sure it will fly through. Sorry re the £100. Anything that can be done. Name/Shame seller on FB??
  14. Might be an idea to use the sad emoji, if you do post a matching car on original picture. Could be easier to keep track. Anyhoo, heres my awful pic. Luckily purchased with a 12mth Network Q warranty, was in Vauxhall at least a day for ever month
  15. Posted earlier on the R75 Forum. 2004 Rover 75 Diesel Tourer Auto - Needs new water pump - £550 https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=324039 For the price, needs a bit of work, but drivable, decent spec and looks in good nick.
  16. Get it running and disconnect the number pad (if it has it) Saves a world of pain later. Really loved my Xantia's.
  17. In his defence even @HMCstopped changing his signature a while back as was taking too much admin time to keep up to date, or the Avensis was his 2000th car.
  18. So you are returning from France with Crabs. Lobsters look good as well. Car performing as expected and not got too lost,
  19. Agreed, they just found the Bat Cave.
