  2. Great list, will do it later. Was getting realy confused with ICE which does not drive wheels by design. Took me at least 10 minutes to realise that ICE means something other than In Car Entertainmemt. What an idiot
  3. Thought there was some Tesla bollocks that you cannot sell for x amount of years. Aware people trying to get round by sub leasing, Throttle house youtube review really good. Watch your fingers on the frunk....
  4. Was with/used Direct Line for years. Price close to others, but no admin fee for changers and temp car cover option meant worth the £20 extra. Last year they refused to insure wifes Mk1 Focus. and my premium doubled. So moved to Tesco. Did a quote for an XF recently. Over a grand??? I'm over 50, Full NCD, no crashes?? Decent'ish area (or so I thought)
  5. Roof not working on SL500. Tried to cover saying battery issues, but could see the exhaust gases.
  6. Am I the only one who opened this thread expecting to see a Renault
  7. Wife mentioned before Christmas that the seat in her Merc A class would not move back. Not urgent as in the correct position for her, just something she'd noticed. Only just remembered/decided to have a quick look today and sure enough would not move. Handle seems to work, but will not move seat. Had a look at passenger side and level releases ratchet at back of seats and then allows movement. Looked at back of drivers seat and the storage box has moved and become wedged, stopping the lever from working. Removed the storage box, and all now working. Reminded me of when the automatic roof stopped working on a previous and it was just because the handbrake was not on. (Did a bit more digging on that one before I realised) Just wondered if anyone else has been lucky and what they thought might be an annoying issue, turned out to be nothing at all.
  8. Are we there yet? Only asking as in my neck of the woods.
  9. Duly noted Edit. Just seen its an RR. My cahooonas are not that big. Amazon Prime - Flipping Bangers Series 3/Ep 5 to see the fun @HMC has in store.
  10. Mate of mine had that exact same Vitara. White body kit , sure it was an L reg as well. Will ask if he has any photo's. We used to call it the Venga bus for some reason. Found out about 6 months after he'd bought it that his did not even have power steering. Amazed he could even park it with the wide wheels fitted.
  11. Don't these have some weird braking system, where Merc only allow a number of brake pedal pushes (in the cars lifetime) before it triggers a warning light on the dash. Other than that (and rust as you say) think they are fairly solid cars.
  12. Obviously realised to cheap and gone up by £500, Still decent though
  13. Been in my watch list for a while as miss my previous ones. Fantastic gearbox, Started at £2k and has slowly been dropping..
  14. Was looking at Corsa's but was more impressed by the cars on the main road behind. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310203170460?sort=distance&advertising-location=at_cars&exclude-writeoff-categories=on&include-delivery-option=on&make=Vauxhall&maximum-mileage=60000&minimum-badge-engine-size=1.4&model=Corsa&postcode=dy12qp&price-to=10000&transmission=Automatic&year-from=2008&year-to=2014&fromsra
  15. Jeepers Rookie mistake. Don't tempt fate and assume there will be no problems with new motor. Hope all goes without a hitch.
  16. Knew exactly where you meant. Just checked google maps which goes back to 2009. Does not appear to have moved as still in same spot.
  17. For a second I thought the Rover was on a trailer, and amazed at the parking, Should be going to Specsavers
  18. Well played that man. Was going to suggest a Yeti, but that beats one hands down
