Finally , if I'd known it was that steep 3 pints of Heineken and 3 double gin & tonics would not have been consumed

I went to Lincoln because I thought it was flat.
    It is on the waterfront.
Whats that pub called near Premier Inn? It'll come to me in a bit. Edit Jolly Brewer,  some characters in there.

The 406 had the 3.0 V6 and the Beemer was slowed a bit* by the oncoming traffic!

The Ronin chase is up there for me as well, the way the XM and 406 were driven was fiendishly brutal.

I love Ronin's chases, they are something special. The XMs moment of cinematic fame. And some Audis and other tat....

Late Dennis Javelin, three Kia Picantos and a trio of Jag XK8s? The Landy is too dear now so that'd need to be a Ssangyong Musso or something.

I worked with a guy who has previously worked at Asquith.
He said they were full of wob and woodscrew from the factory!
Although I think he had been sacked so perhaps not a reliable source.

In common with all Figaros will have the optional Fred Flintstone floor and sills made of wob and bran flakes.

That looks well fixable. A lot of long term SD1 lickers have huge parts stashes from when they cost buttons so hopefully it;s went to one of them and it's on its way back to the road.

A buffed up stock P4 does absolutely nothing for me.
But a scruffy one with the wrong engine and tired interceptor wheels that looks like Fred in a shed has done the all the graft on it is so so cool.

Apparently the P4 Driver's Guild [yes, really] go a bit apoplectic if you fit new fangled radial tyres......they're going to love this..............

I love mine, it’s a dizzler so very different engine obviously but mechanically they are easy to work on. The cabin is built in a way no modern is anymore and feel like they will outlast a nuclear blast. Once you get used to the handling you can chuck them about in an obscene way for a such a big car. I am guessing it’s pretty cheap so it’s a no brainier to get it bought. I have a spare front bumper if the damage is beyond gaffer tape.

The Corsa was avl in South Africa/ South America, the Austin landcrab is Australian & the MK3 fiesta is/was a ford concept.
Fiesta pickups MK3 onwards were sold in again South Africa/South America.
If you where gunna make an 1100 pickup I'd use an estate same as always thought an aggro estate would make a good looking one too.

The DB7 with a manual transmission and the Jaguar supercharged engine is definitely something I would like to try. The way I understand it that car is a mix of XJS/Ford influence/prototype Jag XK8. It's a shame the AJ16 engine and a manual box never were intended for the XK. It would have made for a creamy, robust cruiser.

They are Optare Citypacer-bodied Volkswagen LT55s, same 2.4 6-pot diesel as the lowlier LTs and the Volvo 7/940.
Leicester took 15 as their 844-858, registered D844-854 CRY, E855/6 ENR, E857/8 GNR, all with 25 dual purpose seats. I think most passed to Derby City after Leicester.
The Citypacer was a great idea executed badly but it paved the way for proper coach built "second generation" minibuses after the Freight Rover Sherpa, Ford Transit, Bedford CF and the likes of van converted Mercedes 608Ds.

Without wishing to cause offence... it’s fucked. Spending £1100 on getting it going again is certifiable. There’s plenty of tidy stuff around for a thousand quid. But that’s my thoughts for what it’s worth. At 124k if it’s on the original clutch that could be the next thing once you’ve spent the £1100.
