  1. Okay, so who is going to this then? I should be there with Mr. Cox if I'm not totally out of it after my journey.
  2. Balls to the 'Tina, is that an early Colt Lancer wagon parked next to it??
  3. Okay, here is possibly the last batch of US spots from me! Something by SanFranBarrett, on Flickr Ford Galaxie by SanFranBarrett, on Flickr Ford Galaxie by SanFranBarrett, on Flickr Spoke to the bloke who owned this, I congratulated him on the size of his balls. I'll be back at the weekend and possibly heading straight up to Bromley (or whatever it is this weekend) so maybe see some of you there?
  4. Blimey, I go away for the weekend and miss a Tagora and a bleedin' Rochdale Olympic! If anyone wants to buy that for me and deliver it to BN1, I am a registered charity and it will be tax deductable. Also, that 128 3p = Afracious Fallows
  5. Christ on a bike this thread is dangerous. Despite having no drivers license, no tools, no skills, no experience and no garage*, and currently the other side of the world, I'm pretty convinced that the black Panhard would be well worth bringing over to the UK and getting it 'fixed up' for an MOT. 650 euronuggets seems a steal, even if it is royally fubar'd (which admittedly it does look in the pic) there are mostly aluminium though right so it can't be that bad..... (to use my new favourite autoshite phrase) What's the worst that could happen? Sub 1-litre cheap insurance though! And I would become about 250% cooler if I drove that. And considering how cool I am already, that is bloody excessive levels of cool. * I have one, it's full of firewood and assorted household shite though. I'm going to have to build some sort of storage unit inside it before I convince mother to give it up to me )
  6. 'xactly. Might as well have a crack at it if you have the time/space/skills/inclination. Rarity makes it worthwhile, even if it's financial madness. Just a thought, but are there many of these in French scrappies anymore, or maybe being broken for spares on the Leb? You might be able to get a complete door post chopped out of a froggy scrapper, would make your life considerably easier I imagine. Same goes for the front wing. Worth a look innit?
  7. I'm pretty sure complaining about The Mighty Fall on this forum is an instant ban, isn't it? I too recognize this car. I'm sure there is a thread on it somewhere out there in the internet ether. Lovely looking things these, never really common when I was growing up. Would deffo like to give one a go one day, if there are any left by the time I'm legal Also, Porsche 914 is ONE OF BRITAIN'S RAREST CARS* so well done spotting that! * Top Gear website, 2011. Information may not be accurate in any way.

  12. 25/10 Jammy sod. I wanna see the interior all valeted up now, so I can finish myself off
  13. Yep. Except that car has since been found in sound original condition and is awaiting a restoration. That might be worth 8 large in its present condition, but not a rep. I reckon the MiniSprints look ace though and he's clearly done a ton of work on it
  14. Warren I'd probably delete that post if I were you, admission of guilt and all that...
