  1. I love a Sierra. I've never owned one, but my (80s) employer had loads in their pool car fleet. I've always had a soft spot for the 2.0iS - It's what Ray Doyle would have been driving if 'The Professionals' were still a thing in 1985.
  2. Must be the day for it. My C15 in for MOT too. And a result that I consider a pass.
  3. Christmas was a little late at holbeck towers. Action shot of Mrs h intercepting a mystery package. The sender gave away their identity (or just that they listen to Radio 4). Finally, the reveal! Thank you ASSS.
  4. Thanks for the tip. I just ordered 5 litres for £9.86! + an additional offer of 20% cashback through top cashback brought it down to £ 7.90. Unbleedybelievable.
  5. I missed out last year through being laissez-faire. And had non participants remorse on the day. So count me in thanks.
  6. The curved high pressure steam pipes on a locomotive are known as aiton pipes. I didn't realise it was the name of a manufacturer.
  7. I hear you. I bought a Fiesta TDCi on here as a stop gap car some time ago. I still have it 15,000 miles later because the combination of 62 mpg and £30 tax in a cheap car is quite persuasive. Even if I had to scrap it (hopefully not) or give it away tomorrow, it will already have been cheap motoring.
  8. Err. because Job 1 (Or SOP as Rover called it) is the start of mass production build. They will have already done methods builds of all the launch variants prior to prove that they can build / achieve quality / assembly fault snagging.
  9. Thanks for looking at my holiday slides. The end.
  10. A few Dutch cars I saw while pottering about.
  11. There is one in the Coventry Transport Museum. Maybe the same car?
  12. Well done. Is the name change to "The Gaffer" in the offing?
  13. Still got this. Needed a tyre for the MOT. Boring but economical. I really should go out and buy a V8 to restore balance.
  14. Yes. I can definitely see you in that. Well bought....... You mad bugger!
  15. Jubilee street party. We clubbed together with friends and booked a table at our local event. I suppose it was inevitable that our table should have been where a Renault Kangoo had been abandoned!
