Suddenly remembered that this happened a few weeks ago: Bonus very confusing Seat Panda action.

Cheers! Yeah, I'll be getting one of those. I have the Ghia; badges, Latin American bumpers and headlamp washers aside, it's a perfect replica of my dad's old 2.0 Ghia (A794MEW), and I reckon the most accurately captured miniature Sierra yet. The aero wheel trims are a bit too blobby, though; I'd rather like to swap them with the pepperpots from a Vanguards XR4i. The L's wheels look close to the base model's steelies in terms of design, but they look a bit on the big side. And they're a bit too chromey. Lovely model, though, nevertheless.

That looks utterly delightful.

Yeah, I daren't visit it. Must get one of those Sierra Ls for the collection, though.

There is a Guisal Seat 131 in the Sussex Beacons charity shop in Brighton; quite good condition other than an unfortunate permanent marker paint job. I hesitantly passed on it when the clerk asked for £2. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

This place. Has all kinds of old rammle inside. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk WHICH EXPLAINS WHY THE FORMATTING IS ALL TO SHIT

Inevitable, traditional "must buy a toy car while I'm in Brighton", and this time it's the Matchbox SD1 with working sunroof. Not as accurately proportioned as the Corgi, but a lovely colour. Not too extortionate at TWO PAHNDS, I felt. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

@Datsuncog I'd rather like that UPS truck if it doesn't yet have a home...

Must say I thoroughly approve of all the 540ing on this forum of late. I currently have this stashed away in a cosy garage. Might get it into circulation next year because hilariously ULEZ exempt.

Schaefft's Bargain Barge Extravaganza - Z3 Returnz
RoadworkUK replied to Schaefft's topic in AutoShite
The E39 is just fabulous, but the Riviera is a truly heroic purchase. -

Phwoar! That's even better* than my ultra-cynical Royal Wedding edition! Terribly disappointing that mine doesn't have the cheery bell, though. Does yours?
-
Bunglebus assortment arrived yesterday and is splended. Grate cellar, wood wreck or mend etc.

That's the interior ultrasonic alarm sensor OFF button. Press it before locking the car if you intend to keep a dog (or hostage) inside.

Mine's pretty good for £2 (from a Lymington chazza shop). Just one tyre short. I'll get a fresh set ordered at some point. Actually, could somebody give me a steer on what's actually the right type for this?
-
Ha! My own A4 (18mo older than yours) started doing the exact same thing earlier this year.

I watched Corvette Summer when I was 9 or so. I liked it because "really cool car", but I had no real idea what it was about. On rewatching 20 or so years later, I realised that it was an absolutely dreadful film, and that the car isn't really all that, either.

Must say those Franklin Mints are almost tempting. Almost. But not quite. I will continue to resist. I've impressed myself with my resolve lately, I must say.

I have the white and red set on the left. The transporter's wheels are still caked with plasticine. WHY do kids do that? I loved playing with that set, but after turning 7 or so I found it immensely annoying for A) the truck being fairly badly out of scale with its cargo, b) it being nonsensical, and C) the Mustang being oddly proportioned, like a funnycar.

I have three geographical centres for charity shop mooching; Manningtree, Twickenham and (occasionally) Colchester, and all three are piss poor compared with the regular diecast bonanzas everybody on here seems to regularly encounter. It's disappointing, but I suppose it helps my abstention.

Funny thing. Not so long after getting my first (and second, third and fourth) 1:18 Bburagos, I beseeched Mum and Dad to buy me the Camargue – because it was like a 'Normal' car. I knew that the car it resembled was a hyper-expensive plutocrats's barge, but in terms of play value, it represented the Cortina that my dad had at the time. It was kinda sorta like a regular saloon car, and I could regard it as such on the living room carpet. As such, it was denuded of its box. It's a real shame it's in 'scaled for the box' 1:22, but then again it doesn't really hold up in fine detail to be displayed alongside recent 1:18s properly anyway. Also a shame that it's the only 'big' Bburago not to have working steering. I remember this coming as a bit of a bummer on initial encounter.

I totally forgot that I have one of those.
