  1. The dip switch caught me out, I asked slowsilver to check the lights on my borrowed car this afternoon and it took me a minute to find the dip switch because it is floor mounted. 1968 Triumph 2000 Estate converted to 2.5Pi
  2. Today I borrowed a car to take to a car club meeting tonight. What have I borrowed?
  3. Of all the broken things I have it was the electric assist bike that @catsinthewelder brought over that got my attention today. Still no go but I haven't given up!
  4. Cats is camping, AntonyG. Talbot are staying local and back tomorrow. I have started the stopwatch!

  7. Its a sad goodbye time again. I have had this 325i SE manual E30 for over 10 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a friend from the BMW club who asked to buy it and in line with my feet reduction policy I let her have it. This car was used by the band The 1975 for there music video Somebody else while I owned it.
  8. 16 April 2022 FoD What we are doing. Lift Visa body off trailer and carefully store it using JCB to lift Triumph Toledo - fit the parts I have and check what else I need to buy. Take the cylinder head off the Carlton 2.0i Club estate to check the damage. Start Carlton 1.8 GLi. Start Bedford CF Get Zels Mk1 Cavalier fired up and move it Make a couple of the mopeds run. Cut the grass. Work on/clean your own car/stuff Inspect Ami Inspect 2ft gauge railway engine Help Talbot with barn roof Prepare enclosed fire pit if anybody is staying for the evening Drink tea and chat. Weather looks like it will be dry and 18°C.
  9. Todays project was to clear the space for the container with a big thanks to @Slowsilver @Zelandeth and @Talbot. Also non forum friend Lauren who I know though the BMW club, but turned up with her Audi!

  11. What with those Werehares up there! Folklore says, a Werehair, is a human with the ability to shapeshift into a hare, either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction with the transformations occurring on the night of a full moon. Oh****, its full moon Saturday night!
  12. Wait until next week when I get out my Fiat Seicento. Oh this week Ami 8 wins at 37.6 mpg, but a good effort from my Range Rover TDV6 at 33 mpg.

  16. I don't think the JCB will have any trouble lifting the Visa body, we just need to sort of lifting rated straps. I hope the tow ropes I have will do the job, but don't stand under it! I don't think dangling from the back bucket or riding on the front forks is a good idea to take the Visa down the field so we may need to place it on the car trailer to move it.
  17. Due to various circumstances the delivery of our new container has been delayed until Thursday. Getting ready including lifting the Visa body out of the way is now delayed until Wednesday afternoon (13 April). Anybody free to help?
