  1. Mk2 cav was avl as a 2dr saloon more commonly in lhd.

The corsa ç was I believe imported from aus & rare in the UK.

Aggro was by Crayford again only a handful made (first one was for sale a couple of years ago needing a full restoration ).

  2. what you also need to understand (sic) is that vosa work to one set of rules/regs & the dvla another.

you only need to tell the dvla if you fit another eng the number & cc, change of wheelplan or if you change the colour, fuck all else.

mot testers  (on behalf of vosa) only need to check the numbers/colour match the dvla records & if the set list of items are in a safe condition (pre 1980) vehicles require only an id plate or a stamped in chassis number.

they're only supposed to report any of the above discrepencies.

if approached by vosa your response should be,that any major mods where carried out before 1997, any post 97 (designed parts) where fitted in an adhoc (singular )occasion at least 13 months apart & it is up to them to prove otherwise.

sadly this approach is required as due to being the lowest scum in society, yes a car enthusiast & you are the cash cow that must support the nations dwindling finances.

dear mr 16 plt coach driver  the stopping distance at this speed is not 20ft (being a professional driver you prob know this) so FUCK OFF i'm not breaking the limit & getting a ticket for you while I pass the artic in lane one just so you can hog lane 2.

if I hadn't been alone I to would have done a colc.

  5. junkman not sure if it still applies but suspended tow (crane/speclift) type vehicles over a certain weight are exempt from mot  (don't know exactly why) still require insurance (tax were applicable) but must meet certain criteria in use.

which included can only be used to move/recover broken down vehicles.

can only carry tools/equipment/parts to aid in their recovery (no other loads permitted).

must be kept in roadworthy condition.
