  1. My Focus had a chuffing injector when I got it 4.5 years ago. I got it fixed within a month by a really trustworthy garage who found 3 were chuffing so I got all 4 done. It started chuffing again within 6 months and still is.
  2. That is spectacularly half arsed, you can see the bottom of the Renault diamond under the Mitsubishi badge.
  3. Spent most of today crawling round under the Dacia. The last time I used it was before the bike trip as I'd foolishly decided to use it as a daily driver for a week or two to space the MOTs of the moderns out a bit. Due to a fairly ridiculous set of circumstances I ended up using it to collect a friend from Birmingham airport and we had brake failure on the way back. I was fairly sure I knew what was wrong, a garage had been unable to get the right parts for a previous minor leak so had bodged it just to get it away. It was a T piece above the back axle and the thread was knackered. I knew getting the right bit would be tricky so bought a universal T in the right thread, some unions, pipe and tools to fit and bleed it. Many thanks to everyone who helped in the question thread Finally got it all together again today and bled up. Did break to natter to a young Romanian Amazon driver who was amazed to see it and told me a few tales about them and how they are getting hard to find back home. Then I took it for a test run up the hill. Really glad to get it done as I need it for my daughters prom in 18 days.
  4. Only been to town and back today and spotted these 2 and an 80s Metro!
  5. Just found a copy of that in a charity shop and came here to post it! £1.50 if anyone wants it.
  6. Loved the Ovlov 240, camper looks like @Zelandeth's
  7. @brownnova At least they aren't getting any worse in the garage, mine are gently dissolving into the grass. Sounds like a good bit of progress this week, I've got nowhere with mine and have a deadline closing in (daughters prom, she wants the Dacia).
  8. I remember a very similar photo of "Saurons sump plug" when @dollywobbler changed the gearbox oil on the Discovery I bought off him!
  9. Because all roller painted vans are the same colour!
  10. Depends what time you can get here, me and some/all the girls are heading up after school/work. Will possibly stop somewhere for food and climbing rocks in the mountains pass. Happy to convoy although it might not be fast with 4 in the 1310!
  11. I've eased off the lube a bit as it was getting on the tyre but generally keep it oily. Problem was I should have adjusted it before I left but didn't get round to it. Felt it starting to get loose about 20 miles back but didn't have the right tools so thought I could nurse it home gently.
  12. Thanks for another fantastic weekend! Was great to see friends old and new. Made it back as far as Worcestershire, just waiting for my mate and his van to turn up now. Not a good weekend for transmissions!
  13. I'm in Buckingham, haddock and chips please if you're already heading there!
  14. Scouts took longer than I thought but on my way now, hopefully make it for chippy o clock!
  15. Tempting, but I've got to wait for the Scouts to load it into the van at 10. Good to see you back around here
  16. Helpfully* I've been talked into driving all the stuff to Scout camp on Saturday morning so once I've got the Luton back to Ludlow I'll set off on the 125. Will try and cram the random vacuum spares I acquired yesterday into a pannier.
  17. I appreciate that fitting 3 point belts to a mini estate is going to require some engineering but lapstraps should be fairly simple. I fitted some in the back of my ADO16 by cutting a chunky bit of angle iron to fit along the front edge of the boot behind the seats and bolting the seatbelts to that through holes drilled through the shell. Actually had 3 point belts on the outer seats with an extra mounting through the metal parcel shelf, used the fixed belts from the front so no inertia reels to worry about. It might not pass Euro N-cap but kept the kids tied down fairly well.
  18. Marches Festival of transport in Ludlow today, we were going to drive up to Chodmongley but were running a bit late and I couldn't be arsed.

  20. See if your mate can get them as at least that's heading in the right direction, if not I'll swing by and see if someone can Shiteley from the FoD.
  21. Do they need fetching straight away? I'm about 30 miles away but don't have much indoor storage space.
  22. @UltraWomble I think it's still on the forum in a way with @Ratdat.
