  1. @23rdian No need for tickets but I'll put a copy and paste list up as we get closer so I've got some idea of numbers. I don't need to spend masses setting it up so I'll just put an honesty box out and donate anything above the costs to the local hospice. No need to stay all weekend. I'll be there by lunchtime on the Friday once I've hung a few signs in local hedgerows. I'll probably leave on Sunday afternoon in time to catch the local tip as the site owners aren't operating commercially any more so don't want to be left with loads of rubbish. A lady I know massively over ordered cans of gas for camping stoves so I'll have those for sale to try and get the explosion risk at her house down a bit! There's a butcher in the village, when I get chance I'll ask about putting an order in for breakfast ingredients. Sadly I doubt they supply corners.
  2. @HMC I think it was red but I did nearly 15 hours yesterday so its all a bit of a blur 🫠
  3. I was driving back up the M5 towards Bristol last night and saw a transporter heading your way with a car that looked a lot like this but assumed it must be another one. Was he still towing the mk2 Transit when he got to you?
  4. Been down near Brizzle today Didn't look like it had moved this year.
  5. So I visited the TSR at the weekend. They had the North British loco running with it's new straight pipe exhaust which sounds fantastic in the tunnel and were very happy to run us a special train but can't do it on Shitefest Saturday as they are running steam driver experiences all day. The steam engine will be running on the Sunday and I encourage people to visit on your way home.
  6. Also as a pickup truck, there was one around here till relatively recently.
  7. Well the loo is booked and paid for so I should probably think about ordering something else. Telford Steam Railway are open to the public on Sundays at the moment but I could ask how much it would cost to run us a train on the Saturday, perhaps with the North British built shunter (the most Autoshite of diesels).
  8. They've been made before but never really took off.
  9. Strangly this was heading north to the Scottish border, can only assume that it eas a mission to collect the trailer. Spotted in Fort William, occupant didn't look pleased. Red saloons around Knaresborough.
  10. Excellent, look forward to hearing more about it. Might even see you as I'm moving my mates daughter from his sisters house to her own place on the 20th.
  11. @danthecapriman I don't know much about them but someone locally obviously does as there are a couple that come to shows. These are reposted from earlier in the thread. I think they are based near Shobdon in Herefordshire.
  12. Parked in a nice part of Bristol? My mates sister lives a few doors away. It's not Albert, he's up north and its marked up SECURITY.
  13. So what we need to do is build the field railway and equp it with a flat, car carrying wagon so we can get from the gate to the camping spots 😜 Although there might be a fight to sleep in the boat in case water levels rise!
  14. I don't feel that I need lots of power, my 1.6TD Focus is perfectly adequate once it's moving. The issue is usually the dim witted traction control cutting most of the horses out of the equation when you're trying to leave a junction quickly! The Fake Harley could do with a little more power. I have to plan routes that avoid steep hills which is inconvenient when I live on top of one.

  16. Apologies for the dreadful photos but..... Three Nissan Prairies!
  17. I don't mind average speed cameras. Gone past the first one in a 50 limit at 60? Never mind, just drive through the rest of it at about 47. Much better than normal ones on every gantry on smart motorways that encourage people to do 85 between them then slam the brakes on to pass the camera at 50.
  18. I remember you letting my son drive it round the field at Chumley with the BX on a trailer hitched up behind. Driving it myself at Shitefest Cymru with you encouraging me to give it the beans up the hill climb. You traipsing all the way down to Ludlow in it to fetch that Austin 1100. Passing the buck to you when AP broke the Skoda at SF last year. Rest in pieces wonderful car, hope the eventual replacement is equally epic.
  19. Don't be daft, we'd love you to come. Direct trains to Shrewsbury from Birmingham airport too.
  20. Good thinking mate. There is, but I don't know if it'll do that. Thanks
  21. @Talbot happy to do hookup for lights/chargers. Less keen if its a heater. Which reminds me to sort out some fire wood and charcoal for the fire pits. I'll buy some nearer the time unless anyone has a particularly good source. There's a screen in the woods if we'd like to watch a film? I wondered if anyone fancied swiping 70s car chase videos from YouTube and making something we could put (quietly) on a loop. Miss Cats is from Bridgnorth so I've asked her to sort out a list of the best takeaways.
