  1. I spotted a Lybra estate 10 years ago: Also posted in lazy spotters threead:
  2. Peugeot 306 1.9 XLD £1,195 . MOT to Dec '24, 89,000 miles.
  3. This Rover P4 is parked on a road on a housing estate near to my new digs. Is it a 75? It must have been parked there for at least 10 years judging by the weeds. I am surprised that City Council haven't taken action against it as on street/pavement parking is a bit tight. The van behind it appears to be abandoned too. There's also a Jaguar XJS in the front garden of another house under a cat piss tarp. And a stripped down henna BMW E30 at another.
  4. 1983 Skoda Super Estelle brochure.
  5. I`ve always had a soft spot for these and the Shuma II. Could have bought one on the knock when new when I left college but they cost around the same as my gross salary back in 2000. Come to think of it my wages probably haven't kept up because I'm sure the price of a base model C'eed is higher. 😕
  6. My nearly 6 year old Hyundai has now achieved 43,000 miles.
  7. Just spotted this on my lunchtime constitutional:
  8. Quite like some of American Motor Corporation's old model names like Javelin and even Gremlin. There were even little gremlin motifs on the car! Gremlin was the name of the small car VW Beetle competitor when it was in development and AMC just stuck with it. Also like Hornet too, although that was the name of a Hudson model before that company was amalgamated into AMC.
  9. Renault 16 TX automatic needing work. Bidding is currently up to £2,100. RENAULT 16 TX AUTOMATIC 1977 | eBay
  10. £5,000 for this Vauxhall Nova. Except this Vauxhall "No va" at present: needs an ECU. Looks like an SR
  11. Saab 99 brochure, including the turbo. What a lovely design this is. First car with headlamp wash wipe too apparently (1970).
  12. Big(ish) Fiats For The Win. I owned a 1990 Tempra 1.4 which was a basket case. Hope this Marea turns out to be easier to live with. (Just remembered I almost bought a W reg Marea 1.6 saloon in 2002 )
  13. My sister's first car was one of these. Same spec, registration letter, colour and even the lack of head restraints. This one's up for £3,500. Would look nicer with some Ghia spec chrome hubcaps and rim embellishers if any can be found. Escrot 1.3 GL
  14. Calibra . Bidding is currently at £1,020. Car is in Lowestoft. Calibra 2.0 ecotec
  15. My nomination is the Zanussi white 1994 Ford Escort 1.8 diesel L saloon I bought in April 2010. So good a car it was for £250 that I posted a thread about it here: Unsung hero: in praise of the Escort. This photo is shortly after I picked it up and removed the off white damaged Ford wheel trims:
  16. I spotted this MINI yesterday with mismatched wheel trims. Couldn't ascertain whether or not the trim on the front wheel is a genuine MINI one but it looks like a nice design.
  17. Kettle Series Rover requiring welding. Local Norfolk registered car too. Gr8!
  18. Nice Clio. I greater appreciate Renaults these days for their reputation of excellent ride comfort. My Hyundai reg also begins EO. Essex registration I believe.
