  1. slow puncture on the rear tyre? or owners gone away for a while and the car's been left??Nice to hear it's not that abandoned! I'm happy now
  2. Sad to see an unloved Capri, especially the 2.8i version. Shame about those drainpipe exhausts too...
  3. If you do decide to get an air rifle, as well as shooting the rat(look) scum, can you also please shoot that guy who repeatedly loses all his tunes on his iphone? Faaanks! *EDIT* I've found the rat....
  4. Er....Doovla says she's a legal eagle...The vehicle details for ACA 617L are: Date of Liability 01 08 2010 Date of First Registration 01 10 1972 Year of Manufacture 1972 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1275CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour GREEN So how does that work then?
  5. Ok, try Control Panel>Network and Internet, go to Internet Options and you will see on the far right a link called "Delete Browsing History and Cookies". A new box will appear and about halfway down it says Browsing History. Click on the 'Delete' button and you can delete cookies, internet history and so on from there.
  6. That's actually a design fault! A lot of the Ghia's with the chrome tailgate finisher bit have rust issues around there. I have seen quite a few in the scrapyards with this issue....
  7. I'm sure Mr Lowe would approve of that. Not so much though of the ballsack bot/amoeba/wankstain that started this thread off....
  8. The vans are on Arlington Road - the smiley Transit can be seen on Google Street View
  9. I think he should stop, drop and roll and eat yellow snow.......or maybe he would like a size 12 up his arse?
  10. Nice one Pandamonium :)Yeah there's bridge repairs in Diss at the moment too, so the main road is closed! The Highways Agency are recommending a 50-mile detour...
  11. Went down the scrapyard earlier on. Saw this as part of the crappage scheme... I know it's only an R-reg Fiesta but that's about 100 times better nick than the chod I'm currently steering/weaving down the road. Roll on February....
  12. Without a link, it doesn't exist Hmmm, Fuego.... New Sporty Shite??????Check her out....http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-FUEGO-GTS ... 27ad720119
  13. That Sierra screams WIN!!Nice touch with the Ghia alloys on there too.
  14. Yeah I think it's best to draw a line under all of this now. It's christmas! (almost...)And for the Fuego fans amongst us there is a mint 20,000 mile one on fleabay at the moment....and not a sniff of scrappage scheme about it
  15. How can the car be saved Talbotman? That COD thats issued when it's crushed is the death knell for the Fuego and it's pretty imminent now :(Just wish there was some sort of loophole that exists which meant I could 'swap' the vehicle to be crushed with some other relic that's falling to bits and polluting the atmosphere...
  16. I think we should set up a "Save The scrappage Fuego" thread....
  17. words can't express how sad I am to see the pictures. Thought it was gonna be a right old heap. This car has survived nearly 30 years only to be thrown away by some narrow-minded fool who will end up on the side of the road broken down in 6 months time in his little eggbox Corsa. I'd like to think he will regret what he has done sooner or later. My Fiesta is far far worse condition than this, he should have chucked that in the scrappage scheme instead of the Fuego. Just such a waste.
  18. makes you think that.I remember a mate of mine having one about 10 years ago, but must admit thats probably the last one I saw on the roads.Really? That's scary. My dad had one - a 1.3 LS in dark frog green with a black vinyl roof - reg was KAK 513W (obvious connotations there) - dad paid little money for it from ECA in Norwich one evening in December 1989. Party pieces were that there was no carpet for some reason so dad being dad made one out of a household carpet offcut - light green swirly stuff to match the car (wrong shade of green, dad) and also whenever it was driven in rain, hitting a puddle would cause the electrics to dim badly then come back again. Will always remember the smell of this car as it smelled like an accident at the Glade factory.
  19. Aha! I did see this on the 'Bay the other night.Glad someone off here bought it. Loving the interior! Keep us posted on how she goes
  20. Sorry to drag this one from the archives, but out of morbid curiosity I did an online checky thing on the (sh)at look Metro and apparently E795 JDF is not a Metro but indeed a VW Golf GTi, which was last taxed 6 years ago. Someone's gonna be in trouble...
  21. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MK1-Golf-Auto-Crome-Bumper-Project-RHD_W0QQitemZ290374309344 It's been off the road a while..... The vehicle details for RPG 894R are: Date of Liability 01 04 1988 Date of First Registration 13 04 1977 Year of Manufacture 1977 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1588CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLUE Think it may need a bit of work. Still some monkey is gonna buy it for eleventy million pounds.
  22. Nice one mate, sounds like a good deal for a garage - all you need is suitable tat to store inside it!
  23. According to that leaflet, we also need to take in a LHD Seicento too. No problem, I'll just nip to Italy and get one. Back in a bit.
  24. Should imagine the Scenic is GR8 4 HELPIN PPL IN RD AXIDENTZ
  25. I think the core plugs can be a bugger on these engines, maybe that they are leaking and causing the rough running? Worth a look....
