  1. It has the look of a Ford 100e to me and, whilst I can't find any matching images, that engine seems reminiscent of 2CVs and Morgans so i'd be guessing at an aircooled flat twin. That might also explain the air scoops.
  2. I'd argue that Nos 2, 4 and 5 were symptoms not causes. I wouldnt have used a pie chart if I was going to make all the slices the same size regardless of the actual numbers involved. Hopefully the roadside mechanic types are better at this than the chap in the office who's in charge of graphical representation.
  3. When you sell a car related item on eBay and look up the buyers address on street view and find the same make and model in the drive.
  4. Judging by the absense of aftermarket stick-on tat your "friend" has never seen your car.
  5. Scamp? Mini based kit car.
  6. Reminds me of the Frua Rolls Royce with a hint of Toyota Corona
  7. The car is post facelift. The headlights are different shape, you have LED tailights and a six speed manual box. I'm not sure but i think the grilles are a slightly different shape.
  8. The phenomenon might be 12 years old but the Taycan in those pictures could only be 3 years old at the most.
  9. 81% of this thread seems to consist of "OMG 1.8 cars of the same body style look vaguely similar!" Basically just nicked the post, mate.
  10. Today was the first time I’ve had daylight, weather and time to do anything to this (let’s not mention swapping the winter tyres over in the snow after work), I cleaned the glass, had a go at the leaves in the drains, replaced the missing wheel nut, got rid of the wind deflectors and put new wipers on it. There’s still a little wind noise on the driver’s side, hopefully this improves when the rubbers go totally back to their original shape. However the battery is goosed, as Robson thought, so a new one was ordered from Tanya this afternoon.
  11. Do you remember the emergency text system that was tested on a Sunday afternoon a year or two back and never heard from since. Fujitsu are being paid a lot of money to to keep that on standby by…
  12. In a similar vein, I called the police after a road accident (back 2007) and was told "unless its actually blocking the road, we don't want to know".
  13. Take your Noco back. Mine started the 520d with a very dead battery with no issues. There’s some internet chat that Nocos aren’t that good as the failure rate seems high. Usually followed by stories of one guy starting 3 big block Chevys, a medium container ship and one of Saturn’s outer moons with his Noco. Id be interested to hear what comes of your possible replacement Noco.
  14. Was it the ex-Saabnut Range Rover p38?
  15. I wouldn't buy another e61, they seem to like to break.
  16. I once travelled in a Zephyr taxi in Cuba, it had been fitted with an Indenor diesel engine and a Lada Riva back axle.
  17. "What about these tyres, are they good on the road?" "No, they're only really suitable for..."
  18. License built G wagon with peugeot engines to get around French military procurement rules. Never sold new to civvies but likely GR8-4VEG if you can find a demobbed example.
  19. Actual true fact. When the Range Rover went upmarket at the beginning of the 80s the LR engineers just look at some wheels on a Ford Mustang and basically nicked the design mate.
  20. The upper image is Range Rover Monteverdi, an officially sanctioned 4 door conversion. The lower image is the LR built 4 door which came out a year and a half later. Note the rear wheel arch differences.
  21. No. You’ve just got to look at the door shape
