Not sure if this will work, as i've copied the image URLs from facebook (if it doesn't work then i will upload then to Photobucket)
Anyway pictures, first up Honda CBR1000F(L), that i purchased from Warren_T_Claim:
Done a few bits and bobs to it ...
New Cam chain tensioner and blades (Chain was like new, so didn't replace) , obviously all with genuine Honda bits
Other mode of transport includes this Honda Transalp 600
Which is a brilliant bike, and seems to do everything you ask of it !
Fitted new Avon tyres to it, but think i'll get the wheels re-spoked soon (If anyone can recommend anywhere, greatly appreciated !)

Minimad5 reacted to BavarianRetro in For Sale 1999 T BMW E38 728i Glasgow
Facelift 1999 728i. Silver with black leather. 160000 miles.
Wee bits of cosmetic surface rust here and there.
Runs and drives fine. Would benefit from track rod ends/arms, but I'm breaking a 735i and anyone who buys this can have whatever they want off the breaker. Everything appears to work well.
Original bill of sale showing £38000 cost in 1999.
Cracking cheap luxobarge.
MoT till Feb 2017.
£500.
Will raffle if sufficient interest. Tickets £500 each. Only one left.

Minimad5 reacted to sporty-shite in Volvo C70. SOLD (Save(d) me from Gumtree)
After selling the pasta blaster at weekend, the plan was to.get some new chod for Mrs S. We went off to buy a 318th, which went well. Until I realised that you can't tax a car without a V5. And it has no V5.
So now we're down to one usable car between the two of us. What would any self respecting shiter do in this situation? Of course. Buy something else.
I'd seen this on Facebook over the weekend, and I quite liked it, so messages were exchanged, calls were made and a deal was done. Another five pot blaster.
First impressions are that it's a bit floaty, although this could be because I've been used to the Leon and the 156. It's super comfortable, with soft leather seats, and has loads of toys. The only niggle is that the radio just displays the word "off" on the display when it's switched on. I'm presuming it's locked out of its code. Otherwise, I'm quite chuffed.
Wonder how long it'll last.......

Minimad5 got a reaction from skattrd in New Waftoloon BROKEN
Notice a lot of mention to 'ATF fluid' - Not seen the correct fluid mentioned yet (sorry if it has been, quickly skimming the text)
If the previous owner had the gearbox flushed, you need to ask Why ?
If you have a receipt for this work, call up the garage that did it and ask what fluid they used.
Normal Dextron shite won't work, well it will for a bit before it fucks seals and gums up the passageways and Valve / solenoid gulleys, it should be to JWS 3309 spec'.
Checking the fluid level also needs to be done at a certain temperature, a quick google should yield this information.
I would be tempted to flush the whole gearbox (and if fitted flush the gearbox oil cooler too) and refill with the right stuff.
Probably throw in a B4 valve too.
If not, if you're thinking of selling it, let me know.

Minimad5 got a reaction from Urko in What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread
Not fannied around with an engine for ages !!!
So after doing some cam chain work on the CBR, it was quite pleasing when it fired right up and settled to a nice idle (without any valves leaping out or mating with the piston)
Also had to sort the alternator chain out too, and after reading on the forums thought it had to be an engine out job... 45 minutes later that was fixed too.
Something HAS to go wrong in the next few days, just to restore the fixed / fucked / broken balance.
