This was in Tesco car park yesterday. I was busy snapping when the old chap turned up. It was originally a Mini Marcos which he has owned and modified* over the last 40 years. Now running a Mondeo 1.6.  Best car in the whole car park

I found these pleasant to work on, but I have to do glow plug relay which is on the gearbox. It's meant to be a bugger. I'm completely happy with my e46, they're really good.

The 'rubber' is baked and just bonds to the metal. They're all shite nowadays and last a year. Astra mk3 ones are terrible, but I've never had one go, I don't think it's possible to have any thing bad happen as only the suspension shock absorber mounts to it.

RIP to our old friend, Isopon Maestro. You're hitting that bollard in heaven now.
