Cost is £11 which includes museum access. We've sold out the main 350 car display area already but we'll have more space thankfully.
The main reason for having an "open to all" policy is to bring an end to the infuriating "does it qualify?" comments. Whether this is a sensible policy remains to be seen.

I thought these also had a conventional master cylinder backup or was that only the Silver Spirit?
I am loving this RR. So many of the cars on this place are hovering between scrapman and salvation but few are this glamorous.

1983 Renault 4 GTL
In 2005 Mrs6C and I were driving though Aylesbury to see friends in Surrey and I told Mrs6C the Aylesbury ring road was a danger spot because there were often cars for sale! As we left Aylesbury I announced danger over, 4 miles later there it was, a white 1983 (A) Renault 4 GTL on a wide verge with a for sale sign. We turned round and returned to investigate, nice car, fair price and the seller was a friend of a friend. We had to call our dinner invite to say we were going to be half an hour late as we had bought a Renault 4!

Wow. Didn't know there were now green BJmasters. What are they actually like to drive? Have they ditched the hybrid bits?
Oh and well done for getting back into the saddle after the near-squish. Not an easy shift.

Could I politely ask that we drop the whole Invacare thing?  It really wasn't funny in the first place beyond a "curse you autocorrect" moment at least in my opinion, and a year (or two?) on really has just become really irritating.
Not going to say anything else on the matter nor intend to bring it up again, it's just made me grate my teeth enough times now I had to ask.  So there we go, I have.
 
Back on topic, yeah I won't be attending at that price.  Given it's far enough from home I'll probably be looking at an overnight stay somewhere to start with, and given the reported queues for everything from entry to the toilets, to egress, just doesn't sound like a great way to spend a weekend any more.  

Had to play taxi tonight. Being as it can carry the most passengers of all our vehicles it was loaded full, six up. 

Drove on into the sunset.

In TWC news, she hasn't been out much this year. Too much else going on and the single seat option isn't great for a family... Hope to boost the number of driving family members in the coming months.
But, the winter project is to finally do something about the bodywork, which has been getting worse since she returned to the road. More on that once we get started.
I also hope to go over the mechanicals. I've managed to acquire (courtesy of Adam) a stripped engine. I know it rotates but haven't yet assessed whether the distributor moves. That is very much my hope. The engine appears to be an early one with the old-style filter, correct for TWC. I also need to do something about the transmission. I do have a spare, but it is locked in gear. Considering swapping just the diff, but that could well be beyond my meagre abilities.

The scrap Charade went for baling three two days before the bump...
That smash is terrifying! Two days after I was filming there. Quite fancying a Volvo XC60 as it happens...
