  4. I was just doing some Googling for random Japanese websites for cool pics of KE70 Corollas........ then in amongst all the crazy links and dodgy translations I found some cool photos from when the cars were designed, tested and launched!! FOUND HERE (Along with all other corolla models)......... http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.geocities.co.jp%2FMotorCity%2F9257%2F (IF the pics on Translate don't work, just untranslate it and the pics will work again!)

  11. Maybe, Maybe not....... but gotta be in it to win it lol
  12. Then sign here..................... http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/183 "Re-introduce a 30 year rolling vehicle excise duty exemption scheme, for classic vehicles. For too long now the tax exemption of classic cars has been frozen, to only apply to those manufactured before 1973. History did not simply stop in 1972. These are not cars which are driven everyday but rather on sunny weekends, to attend enthusiast shows etc.. It is vitally important that we help to preserve this important part of British motoring history." As we know on this site, there are plenty of cool/classic cars that are worth saving and cherishing from after 1973, so why do we have to pay silly amounts of tax when others dont?? If it was a rolling time period then it would be much fairer. Feel free to discuss...............
  13. I was randomly Googling some pics and came across Pars Khodro "Sepand" from Iran, I just thought Ide post up a little more about them.................... look familiar lol Yes its loosely based on the MK1 Renault 5 5-door like I have, using the same panels and some of the running gear on earlier models. A later model was "modernised" with a Kia pride chassis and running gear and features such as Air Con etc.............. The Wide arches were standard as the Kia Platform was much wider and this was the cheapest way to make it fit lol They also did a facelift version with a few revisions to the body style which were made until 2005 I believe............ There is also a good modifying scene for these in Iran which makes for some funkey little beasts................ And some not quite so tasteful lol............ OK they may not be very good cars to our standard But I always find it interesting to see odd models being modified in the countries we never think about.
  14. Teddy bears........... means not a lot!! Hang ring like mine............. part of Japanese Bosozoku history!! They are not towing loops or kids toys etc etc............. they are actually Hang Rings off a Tokyo Subway train and have 2 meanings to the Bosozoku in Japan! A) They are stolen from trains and hung on the back of cars as a prize.... Kind of a "2 fingers to the law/rebellion type thing, They are often hung close to the ground to show off how low their car is to the rest of the Bosozoku. So now you know I love the History behind these "gangs" that date back to the 1950 motorcycle gangs and progressed from there. its not just a "Chavy add on" there is actually a meaning behind it......... Note the ring................
  15. HAHA i was waiting for that LOL......... I gotta have some silly Jap Tat on there somewhere. I just love it when people ask WTF is that HAHAHAHA
